This is the wrong team to try attacking run-first. Throw on them and they can be beat. 4 YPA won’t cut it against the Bucs or most other teams in the league.

It's not even an option when the OLine cannot pass protect. It's like saying "shoot 3's" to beat a NBA team when you have zero shooters. It's not an option. Doing so would show this moronic oc wants shotgun no-matter-what

LOL. This isn't a SB and the Pats are FAR from a SB caliber opponent.
If you don't think this isn't going to have the same level of energy as that, you're fooling yourself..

It's funny how much the perception has changed with Gronk. We all thought he was physically done when he retired but he looks great so far. I'm sorry to see him get injured but I'm thrilled that he isn't playing tonight. He's a load and a half in all aspects of the offense.

Unfortunately, Gronk looked done physically in 2019. Hell, even last year, he was good not great until the Super Bowl. This year he looked like he found the fountain of youth. At least for the first two games. In the first two games, he was targeted 13 times and caught 12 of them with four of them being TDs.

It is a big loss the Bucs tonight. Unfortunately, they still have three #1 quality WRs. It just helps the Pats from having to double the TE especially in the red zone. They can put more focus on the WRs.

Gronk may be out for a while.

Someone should be fired on the Bucs' training staff. What the hell were they thinking to allow him to go back into the game last week? If this report is true, there is no way this wouldn't have shown in the X-rays during the game last week.

Yeah, there are reports that Brady kept the team on the field an extra two hours for an unofficial extended practice last week. For Brady this is probably as big or close to as big as the Super Bowl to him.

There might be things that a cat scan tells you that an x-ray doesn't...with that said, the x-ray technician probably just took the x-rays. It's up to the doctors to interpret them and keep him out of the game if it's serious.

If the o-line fails this week like last week, the Pats best bet on offense is to leave Jones in the shotgun. He can process the field much quicker and see the rush. With the Bucs CBs, the Pats receivers could get open quickly and Jones could potentially hit short timing patterns all night.

But the Bucs only have 27 QB pressures (a pressure rate of 19%) and three sacks. The sacks could be because of mobile QBs they faced, but the pressures are not as skewed because of it. So they haven't been doing well putting pressure on the QBs like last year and JPP is out.

If one rib was broken and punchering his lung, that would have shown up in the X-Ray. The only caveat is it could have happened after he went back into the game after the X-Rays.

Why don't the Pats have an impact pass rusher like AD? Need that for games like this.

Fans of 31 teams ask that question.

Judon has been one of the better pass rushers in the league thus fan. Not in the same stratosphere as Aaron Donald, but he is up there.

Exactly.

“Picking near the end of the first round in almost every draft from 2002 through 2019, why don’t the Pats have one of the best interior pass rushers of all time?” Holy asinine question.

Belichick influence on Brady still strong

They traded him to Arizona after the 2015 season.

Chandler Jones is a 1st ballot HoFer and the Pats sold low. Underrated GMing mistake.

Chandler Jones is not a first ballot hall of famer. I don't even know if he will ever get in the Hall. Go and look at the DEs from the 70s and 80s that aren't in the Hall and tell me that Chandler Jones deserves to be in more than them. He may get in at some point, but definitely not first ballot.
