Brady Sr. Says what I’ve been saying all along.

edit ...

beautiful sunny day outside

I've never said BB is perfect but the equivalancy you're attempting to draw here doesn't fit this discussion. When has BB ever employed surrogates to execute a grievance campaign? I can't think of any but maybe you can.

Sounds like a red herring, looks like a red herring, smells like a red herring. The equivalency definitely fits the discussion. Let’s take a trip through time, shall we? It’ll be fun.

Nonsense. BB always takes responsibility, credits the opponent and not once in his 21 years here has thrown anyone under the bus. Does losing get him pissed? Of course it does, but you'll never see him whine.

That statement is provably false. He’s whined and trashed his opponents several times. Moreover, is there any actual proof that Brady actually told Guerrero or his idiot dad to run a smear campaign?

Hahahha!!!! This is the way you recap what happened? You told Ashley that Deus used a sexist term against her and got Deus banned and the thread shut down. Amazing how you can be so dishonest in the way you present the facts.

Go back through the thread. Ashley and Deus were at it long before I got involved. I mentioned that Honk appeared sexist (admittedly I was wrong) and Ashley decided to ban him. She did that on her own and could have done her own research as to the word's meaning instead of relying on me. And yes, the thread got shut down shortly thereafter, but like I said it went to hell long before that. Ian hardly shuts down threads due to one member.

I would take being called a SJW as a compliment and I can confidently say that I have NEVER heard the term “honk” in any context other than just being an unreasonably optimistic fan.

I never heard of the word "honk" being equated with "homer." I made a mistake.

Yeah exactly. Bill never really take responsibility. He always hide behind « I do what is best for the team ».

Like I said, I never claimed BB was perfect. But the rare examples you conjured weren't on the record for public consumption, his Freddie Mitchell jibe -- which was well deserved -- being a possible exception (I'll have to look that up). You're smarter than to suggest Tom Sr. and Guerrero are out there barking without Tom's foreknowledge and likely blessing.

Every single one of them were on record for public consumption. That’s how we know about them in the first place. Come on, now. You’re better than that.

Tom Sr has been saying crap for years. Even when Brady was here. He’s a jag off. I highly doubt all 3 met or had a conference call where Brady told them to go after Bill. Guerrero even said he doesn’t speak for Brady and neither does Brady’s dad. They were asked what they thought and they gave an honest answer on it.

They are taking a well deserved victory lap after winning the Super Bowl.

You're conflating people speaking on the record directly to media with quotes obtained otherwise, re. BB v. Mason during the game and dissing Ryan's defense to his son walking off the field, etc. Not the same thing at all.

That's silly. At the very, very least, Brady has given tacit approval by not muzzling them.

Brady’s dad opened his mouth last summer and did it again this week, so it would seem like Brady Sr. is speaking on behalf of Jr.

Tom Sr certainly echoes junior's sentiment.......all Tom has to say is 'dad, don't'

sounds like LaVar Ball

the Brady side has been into branding for years.....the Belichick side has not

Wrong thread ....

BB on Marv Levy after Levy accused Bill's Browns of faking injuries to slow down his team's no huddle:

"I think that's a bunch of garbage. It's hard for me to have respect for Levy for saying that. It's demeaning..... Here's a guy offensively who came in and tried to run the Wing-T offense in Kansas City. That was brilliant," he said (sarcastically)

"The best thing he did was turn the offense over to Jim Kelly in the second half of the Carolina game and against us," he said. "There's a guy, Jim Kelly, who can run an offense and move an offense. Unfortunately, he [Levy] didn't call more plays against us, like he did against Carolina. I would much rather go against him than Jim Kelly."

I'm sure he wouldn't belittle another coach like that today but this doesn't exactly sound like a guy who is a role model of graciousness.

when was this?

Tom Sr., Guerrero and the rest of Brady's surrogates just need to STFU. All this public posturing is about hawking the TB12 brand and preemptive damage control re. Wickersham's book. Tom should just cut the crap and let his play do the talking, conjuring a media soap opera makes him look like a whiny diva.
Super petty. No need to throw BB under the bus at this point. Tom has won...so stop with this bullshi*

I've never seen this "Brady vs. BB" measuring contest as anything but nonsense. They couldn't have accomplished what they did without each other, just as Brady couldn't have won the Super Bowl last year without a veritable all-star team built around him.

Tom Sr. continues to imply Tom left because of Bill and/or because Bill didn’t want him back. What’s the controversy here? Tom left because of Bill. Not because of money, salary cap, hating Boston, selling out, cherry picking a better roster, Florida weather, etc. Of course TB Sr. and AG are a reflection of Tom’s own thoughts.
