No way Gilmore is traded this year. Comes off PUP one or two weeks before the trade deadline. Who is gonna trade for him with like one game of tape in basically a full year at his salary for a half season?

His salary is prorated. So they would only pay for about half his salary this year. I think a team would trade for him, but I am not sure if they would offer enough for a
Belichick to let him go.

I’ll give Belichick a lot of credit in that he understands that running backs are disposable in today’s game. Find a good catching back and keep him around, everyone else can come and go.

Yeah but even so, that's a lot of money for a guy who'd have a lot of unknowns. But yes you're right - someone would probably make an offer, I should've specified no one would make an offer that Bill would actually bite on. I just don't see it happening. But I'm no Nostradamus, who knows.

FWIW I'd think about that trade. I love Steph but if he wants the kind of money I think he wants... I'd rather spend on JC next year and get Thomas for Mac...

That was a rough goal-line sequence from Dak. Had the throw to Elliot on the boundary come out quicker, he probably has time to turn upfield and extend the ball for a TD. Not to mention missing the guy open in the back of the endzone.

Elliot's run on the option pitch was very underwhelming.

Both teams look sloppy and have shot themselves in the foot. I think the score is a pretty fair representation of the game. Dallas has looked pretty solid at times, they don't seem outclassed.
