Official 2021 Cutdown Day Thread

Can you all PLEASE stop talking about football and go back to talking about portly wives?

Nobody ever said it better than that famous American Cultural Historian...

Sir Mixalot!

I guess there's no more cutdowns to report.

I’m sure a few cutdowns in this thread got reported. Some can dish it out but they can’t take it.

It's tough to count on Agholor as that guy when the Venus de Milo has better hands.
Ahh Deus. Showing everyone just how ignorant you are.

Agholor has 12 drops on 248 targets over the last 3 years. That's an average of 4 drops on 82 targets per year . That's better than Edelman who had 24 drops on 300 targets (8 drop/100 targets)

Most importantly, that’s just a ton of speed on the field to account for. It would make life as easy as possible for a rookie QB.

The Pats currently only have about 5M in cap space. Also, are you forgetting that Cooks ran INTO a concussion during the SB against the Eagles and cost us a huge weapon?

There are plenty of ways they can free up that cap space in a trade. This is if he is available.

So what?

That's good info. I'm feeling better about Agholor...thanks !

I think that injuries and their replacement with NFL vets is the biggest reason that Miguel PBUH says $5M is not sufficient space for this year.
Gotta re-do Gillmore.
I'm still in the trade for Cooks camp if reasonably possible.

Cost of a potential "#1 receiver" due to come off his rookie deal if I remember correctly. Similar to Sony - could've kept him versus letting him go as he was a fit in both skill and scheme - just didn't.

He's not a dominate the gameplan #1 and has a reduced route tree, but he's another true outside guy that would further increase the number of "must account for" in developing the overall defensive scheme each week with Henry, Algholor and the run game.

Cooks is in his 7th year in the league. He's not on his rookie deal. Cooks signed a 5yr/$81M deal with the Rams after we traded him to them.. That deal has since been redone and he's a Free Agent after this season as Houston changed the final 2 years to VOID years..
