Exactly. There isn't a true NT run stuffer but the totality of the front7 should be pretty good. For covering TEs and RBs we'll see if Phillips or Dugger can play in the box.

Carl Davis is a load in the middle, when he was in there last year the run defense really improved. Guy isn't a NT but he's stout against the run for a tweener. The other DT's are pressure DT's to replace Butler, I'm not sure all these guys will make the team out of camp, but maybe.

The unit is two years removed from setting historic numbers on 3rd down percentage and from carrying the team to a SB. With the additions from FA and back from Covid opt outs mainly Hightower, if we keep Gilmour this should be a top 5 defense if key players stay healthy.

If you watched the tape you would see that exactly the strengths GOD has is playing the double team and holding his ground. But sure look at tackles and team rankings to assess an individual player. That will get you the reputation you have, a no nothing who spouts things he makes up.

He doesn't hold his ground. He's a nimble penetrator type, better than Adam Butler. Godchaux isn't a classic 3-4 NT. But keep saying we're set at NT .

This looks about right. The only one I'm not sure about, is whether Anderson is a starter or 3down player. McMillan is a quality role player LB.

Bentley and JaJuan don't have a role.

I like the DTs. Those guys are here to stop the run. Big improvement over last year.

Wise sucks; and it now appears that he's eaten his way out of being a DE even on running downs...

There was a stat posted here a while back that showed winovich was double teamed pretty frequently and did well when double teamed.
No clue where it is, maybe that poster will see this and repost.

As always you are wrong. I mean where do you get your player evaluations? It’s like you are usually talking about the wrong guy.
What are you basing this on? Did you watch film? Can you post the film you watched to conclude this?

It’s going to be interesting to see what role Dugger evolves into. He has the skillset to play a dmac or a Ching role

We’ve already seen his pass rushing ability. For a sub and a de who moves inside on 3rd down he’s been effective.
