There are no true “game wreckers” on the DL available in FA , even fewer good players if you limit your search to DTs:
Maybe via trade or if Cuts are coming idk but I guess our D-Line is improved if we get a Butler type with better early down defense. Idk if we can find a three down DT as it stands right now. Harris was my choice but he is gone
Here are the best remaining DL, some of whom are really OLBs, depending upon the system:

Short
Rankins
Suh
Guy
Butler
Solomon Thomas
Clowney
Griffen
Houston
Dunlop

Shelvin is my DT draft binkie. I also love Tedarrell Slaton. Barmore smells like a day 1 bust to me.
Shelvin is mine too if we want another NT. Slaton not so much before rd. 7 tbh. He got dominated by 1 vs. 1 as an supposed NT. That's not thrilling me. Agree on Barmore but wouldn't mind him in the second if we trade down and acquire another second rd. pick and don't get any third down DT cause i think Wise won't get the job done like Butler last year.

What happened to innocent until proven guilty?
Between the two, there's a lot of wiggle room. Should be "Don't doubt women." Because doubting them was the common reaction prior to increased awareness. But yes, I don't see why I have to believe everything. I don't.

I wonder what made Shelton fail the physical? If it can heal I would take him back as a space eater
He had triceps surgery after the season. His only missed time last season was with a knee injury, so it sounds like he could play through the triceps but then had to make it worse via surgery in order to make it better long term.

Trent Williams to the 49ers. 6 years for a soon to be 33 year old though?!

The Chiefs were reportedly interested in him - must have been a bidding war. Sounds like all the guaranteed money is in the first two years (maybe a little in year 3). Having 6 total years (instead of 5) is probably a sign that they may need to restructure again next year.

six teams are still over the cap, they have to be under it by 4pm today, so expect lots of moves today....

Packers
Saints
Easgles
Bears
Rams
Falcons

I wonder what BB thinks of CB Jourdan Lewis (although he’s somewhat of a smaller version of Mills...so he’d be redundant) & RB Marlon Mack.

Also..

Agree.

Save for Andrews, my gut tells me the NEP are done for now (I have no idea obviously) and will sit back and let the market settle. If they find players willing to come off their price and looking for a home before the draft then they might pounce.

Rest of the roster will be filled with draftees, UFAs, small trades and red tag sale items.

It’s the world we live in. Every situation has to be used for political/social/personal gain.
Depending upon what side you are on you attack the emotional factors. How can presumed innocence matter when something truly awful happened? Look no further than the responses from the exact same people to cavanaugh and cuomo accusations.

The answer lies somewhere between the two common modes of "always believe women" and "women be lying". I wish people could use more nuance.
Shouldn’t the answer lie in getting the facts and not choosing a side based upon preconceived beliefs based on what other people did?

That is literally my point. Not sure how you would have come to any other conclusion based on what I said.
