I actively rooted against the Buccaneers all year, but just couldn’t do it tonight and cheered on the GOAT. I don’t like how it ended here and and I especially HATE the need for some posters on here to use Brady’s success to denigrate Belichick, but ultimately Brady brought so much joy to me as a sports fan that last 20 years, I couldn’t root against him.

I’m especially happy to hear that the Mahomes GOAT talk is now officially done now and forever. Mahomes could go on to win the next 10 Super Bowls in a row, but he was never able to beat the greatest to ever do it when it mattered.

It was ridiculous to begin with. I never listen to them, but I saw a quote from Skip Bayless and for once I agreed with him. Absolutely nobody was talking about Brady coming for Joe Montana's position as the GOAT after, let alone before, his second SuperBowl win. It's absurd and disrespectful to Brady. Mahomes is the best QB in football. But as he now knows, winning SuperBowls is difficult. And unlike Brady, he went after every penny he could possibly get. That will make it even harder. Zero chance this guy wins anywhere near 6 SuperBowls.

Mahomes is the best QB in the league? How do you justify this absolute goonism? The best QB in the league is the one that takes his team on the road for three games in the playoffs and then OBLITERATES some "phenom!" when the live fire starts and the bullets start whizzing.

It’s a sporting event; if any of us knew the outcome with certainty, we’d be rich with Vegas’s money. I thought KC’s line would lead to problems, but that was so extreme I don’t think anyone actually saw it coming.

Losing the SB sucks; we lost 3 with Brady and 2 before that. On the bright side, an ass kicking is easier to digest long-term than a close loss.

The Chiefs will be in the hunt every year. This isn’t like the old NFL where a Super Bowl loss was so devastating. The Chiefs had a really boom-or-bust team built around superstars. In the Super Bowl, Mahomes was wrecked all game, Hill and Kelce both struggled, and Mathieu got ragdolled. Those guys usually play so well they make other players appear better. When they get shut down and the Chiefs needed help from those role players, the help wasn’t there.

if a complete buffoon like Arians can take a wild card team w Brady and win a SB it adds more fuel to the fire that perhaps Coach Bill isn't the be all and end all that many think he is and perhaps after all these years maybe is was mostly Brady as the reason for the teams success
