Sometimes I wish Bill just did the conventional and not apply his own ego driven “insight”.In the 2015 season there were several including the PR snafu in Denver, Winning the toss in OT after a TD drive to tie it up & send it to OT vs the Jets and deciding to defer, the Philly game that turned on a pooch kickoff. The Miami miracle which not only included putting Gronk in on a none Hail Mary play but also letting the clock run out while having 3 timeouts in the 1st half after stopping them and having 2 mins left. There are more but that's just off the top of the dome
Let’s not discount SoS. Pats had the 9th toughest; WFT had the 3rd easiest. We had one quality win - Ravens. Three awful losses to the Broncos, Texans and Niners. Game plans and coaching were awful in all three. 7 wins is not a good season. What Rivera did in Washington winning 7 games with 4 different QBs was a better feat.
I double that.Good for Bill
That's cute. Bill says "the decision has been made" as opposed to the more obvious and appropriate "I have made the decision." This way he can still save face with Trump by claiming privately Kraft put him up to it. He's even a weasel while pacifying the masses. Of which by the way he had no other choice.
Yes, really. Did you actually think he would accept this "award" from Trump given the current political climate? The f*cking team would have no players on the roster come next season.

I love the Felger take on the pooch kick. Patriots are up 14-0 and try and catch the Eagles off guard with a trick kick that does not work. Eagles take over at their own 41. After 2 plays they are looking at 3rd and 10 before completing a short pass that goes for 20 yards. They later score on that drive. The Eagles subsequently score on a blocked punt, 99 INT return and an 80 year old punt return yet somehow the narrative was that pooch kickoff that gave them about 15 free yards was somehow the turning point is beyond funny. I would have thought bad special teams play was the key but that would be harder to bash the coach on.In the 2015 season there were several including the PR snafu in Denver, Winning the toss in OT after a TD drive to tie it up & send it to OT vs the Jets and deciding to defer, the Philly game that turned on a pooch kickoff. I agree. I am sure it was a difficult decision for him. The honor and recognition remain whether he gets the medal or not.Lesser men would have either accepted it, come up with a travel excuse, or just punted with a vague reason.
Look, I think some of your criticism about BB is warranted (mainly I think he should be treated as a human and not a god), but I’m not on board with a takedown of his character. It’s unfortunate the media has over the years assassinated a great man who has always led by example.
My dude, did BB pork your mom back in the 80s and not call her back? That's cute. Bill says "the decision has been made" as opposed to the more obvious and appropriate "I have made the decision." Bill's not a god? Whoa now... ease up on the man.Lesser men would have either accepted it, come up with a travel excuse, or just punted with a vague reason.

Or maybe, just maybe, BB heeded his conscience and acted on principle in the wake of last week's events. Even someone like you who hates the man should leave the door open a crack for that possibility.Bill's not a god? Whoa now... ease up on the man.
Ok so this isn't George Washington we're talking about here. Seriously, lead by example? You mean like Spygate? Or how about throwing his franchise quarterback under the bus for Deflate gate? Or the way he humiliated Butler? A player who spared him great embarrassment by closing out SB 49. And the media by the way doesn't push back at all on Bill despite his obvious contempt and constant opposition.
Here's what Belichick did, or rather what some nebulous entity did with the decision... what he had to do. Accepting this award, or anything from Trump, a dirty snot rag, would be career suicide. You can't figure that out?
