And I'm fine with that...So let's play Stid for the rest of the season if Sunday's game goes real badly as it very well might...All the other kids too...
And dump the dead weight like Terry Brooks...But for the poor QBs' sakes bring in at least one vet who has actually caught NFL passes now that Edelman's gone for the next 3+ weeks...

bb has to do everything in his power to lose the next 10 games! If he is truly all about what is best for the team. Getting Lawrence is what is best for the team.

Pats bringing in WR Donte Moncrief & two others for workout & physical...

Moncrief is a 6-year vet with at least a demonstrable body of work...If healthy he would automatically become our #1 receiver...

What has Ross ever done that we would want him? Injured often and haven't heard of him making many plays.
And you didn’t even get to the drops. PFR’s advanced stats have him with 16 career drops and 51 catches. For comparison, Edelman’s last 1.3 seasons is 121 catches and 15 drops.

(Dawson Knox, out with COVID this week, is coming for him, though. 12 drops to 34 catches.)

this could be good value. 1 year at around 12 mil is all he’s guaranteed, we could probably get him for a late rounder. Gives us a year to evaluate whether or not to extend him; If not we could make up the lost pick through the compensation picks we usually receive.

Isn’t he out for the year, we’d have to wait for the offseason to trade for him.

yes in this scenario we would trade for him in the offseason.

Cousin,
We have gotten rid of Monte (Director of College scouting) which is a step in the right direction. Nick needs to go too.BB gets blamed for both of their blunders and BB is responsible somewhat,. It's the slow action of Nick C that was fine when the Pats needed one or two pieces but disastrous when the Team needs a make over.
Another route to consider is go after some youngsters at trade deadline to stockpile for 2021 in case the Pats flop like these last two years.
Q Willimas DT of the Jets?
Hasson Reddick LB Cards (maybe up and coming) and former 1st rounder is tradable.
OJ Howard TE Bucs
Now might be the time to make an offer on OBJ and get him in here to know our complicated system for 2021.
A lot of these are pipe dreams but an example of getting something for Draft choices that what we have gotten in the Draft is my point.
Maybe an under the radar kid like TE Foster Moreau from the Raiders or pay through the nose for Giants TE Evan Ingram (yep I would do a 2nd) How much better of a Draft pick will you get?
Josh Reynolds WR of the Rams.

So when is the nfl trading deadline? 4 p.m tuesday? I will be surprised if we move anyone but at the right price i can see a move.

Well that's smart and kinda crappy. The Jets used Williamson's recovery from a torn ACL as leverage to get him to take a pay cut, and that pay cut increased his trade value from nothing to something. He would've been better off refusing a pay cut, getting cut, and signing with a new team directly.

Kiko Alonso has now been traded four times. Maybe Brandin Cooks has a chance to match that in the next 27 hours.
