PFT- Antonio Brown can return in 2 weeks (UPDATE: Signing w/Tampa)

there are alot of excuses here for AB's behavior. His release from the patriots was his own doing. This is a classic case of "if you wait a season people forget"

Pats were going to ride with him with the civil suit. But when he threatened the woman from the article they were forced to release him. All he had to do was stay quiet and he couldnt do it for a week.

Maybe this works out, but I think his last 3 teams would be shocked. Steelers, raiders, patriots

Tb all in this year...let s see how it will end...

My money is on a lawsuit & a release (when pertaining specifically to AB).
My forecast is for trashed condos with a chance of raining furniture....

geez folks has everybody forgotten that meltdown? Throwing furniture out the window into the pool area, people below ducking and running for cover, narrowly missing a toddler, subsequent lawsuit for endangering people settled on the DL?

the dude is whacko, no matter what his bud TB12 thinks of him.

Antonio Brown Attends Court Deposition As Footage Of Condo Furniture Throwing Emerges

Appreciate that. How about this: I'm not wishing that AB goes to a Tampa strip, gets infected with Covid-19 and then gives it Brady, but that would be poetic justice.
LOL. Nah I wouldn’t go that far. But wouldn’t you hate to see Brown have a failed PED test? I would. Yup. Would hate to see it. :)

He won #1-6 with a bunch of janitors...some of you are acting like Bill treated him like crap for 20 years...

Not exactly sure how me saying brady wasn't winning with this trash group of receivers somehow translates to me acting like bill has treated tom like crap for 20 years. Quite the leap you took there.... I'm just calling a spade a spade........and no, he didn't win all 6 superbowls with an offense/receivers as bad as this one. All though I'll admit he use to be able to make lesser players look good more often when he was younger but the guy is 43. You can't ask/expect him to carry a bunch of bums to a SB title now.

To be honest, the Bucs need Browns skills. Brady hasn’t been doing as well as a lot of fans thought he would. Evans and Godwin dealing with injuries, Howard, who seemed to be on a path of a big turn around until the season ender. Gronks just a shell. Running game has been better than expected. Brown will help and its not in any way a f u to Kraft and BB.

The strength in the Bucs team has been its defense by a country mile. Was last year too but their qb turned it over 40xs. Brady has not and he has been a good enough game manager to keep them atop. What the team really needs is better pass protection for the playoff run, but thats not gonna happen. Kill it with talent and hope something clicks with Brady to be that 3-400 yard guy with 3-5 tds a game. If he had the time to throw I’m sure he’d already be there.

Because when it comes to Bill and Brady you have to speak in extreme absolutes with absolutely zero nuance. You also need to make sure you have plenty of hyperbole mixed in. Just always remember that the six rings are either completely Brady or completely Bill. You must choose.

I didn’t see the Bucs as a SB contending team. But after what they did to Rodgers now I think they are. Unless Arians gets in the way.

He also had a clean pocket for most of his career in New England. Something he didn’t have last year and that looks shaky at times in Tampa.

203, your last statement is utter tripe. The Law of the Excluded Middle FTW!

Lol it was sarcasm. I don’t think there’s any chance either side has 6 rings without the other.

Some times I wonder about Tom's win at all cost attitude. I didn't like AB when he was signed with the Patriots and didn't miss him when he was let go.

and then Brown blew it 2 weeks later by sending threatening Text messages to a woman he stiffed on payment....

I do feel like not enough blame is being put on Brown for his situation and its mostly being put on kraft/bill. All brown had to do was keep quiet and they were willing to put up with his civil suit and let it play out. Maybe they couldve not dropped him, but would he have been suspended the rest of the season? very likely. There is a reason no other team picked him up last year.

Now hes with the Bucs as the NFL proves that "time heals all wounds" and people will forget what horrible things you have done if you wait long enough. Look at Tyreek Hill, everyone forgets he broke his sons arm.

Yeah.

Hill is another guy I wouldn’t want here.

Brady .......embracing the Lebron formula?

My questioning of the Lebron GOAT narrative: Has there ever been a player who required more heaven and earth to be moved to get him his rings?
Tompa Boy now prefers this formula: Get me stars to make me look good. (AB, Gronk, Fournette, McCoy)

If you look at the last 4 weeks of Gronk and project that to a 16 game season
60 catches for 828 yards, 13.8 yards/catch 4 TDs.

Also still a great blocker

So basically a shell of Gronk is better than all of the Patiots TEs this year and last year.. combined

Their front7 was good but their secondary was terrible last year. This year Winfield stabilized the safety position and the young CBs are learning and growing quickly

Lol McCoy is 100 years old and Fournette has hardly played.

Brady is as competitive as any player ever in the NFL and he wants to win. Last year he was "miserable" despite being 8-0 as he did not believe the team would be able to get it done when the chips were down and that ultimately proved to be true. Would be odd for a 43 year to not want his team to go all in so no idea why anyone would hold that against Brady or the Bucs. Why else would they sign him if not to do everything to win it all this year or next?
