2-3 would not be great. That would be two AFC losses.

Realistically speaking, we're splitting with Buffalo, at best. So yeah, 2 AFC losses and potentially 3 games behind Buffalo with 1 more potential AFC loss (in them) to go, is a huge detriment.

Defense is average at best, offense is a train wreck(we knew this). This is going to be a 6-10, 7-9 season. Please don't shoot the messenger.
Ban this troll loser

This prancerman troll just won't stop...ban this humiliating embarrassment to our fanbase. I truly despise that intrepid sperm that invaded his mother's egg. Despicable punk troll always pimping his idiotic takes and talking down his bony nose like he's the "knower of things". He's a punk..an insecure little toad man.

We could say should coulda woulda. I hope cam comes back and we start winning games against legit opponents. Right now 0-2 against super bowl contenders.

still were better throwing than Lamar Jackson vs the chiefs

this was the reigning MVP.

I’d like to see Stidham after a week of getting all the first team reps, and being ready to start the game. I still think there’s potential there. There was a time Brady came off the bench to start for an 0-2 team and he’d never started before. We need a much larger sample size on Stidham

I don’t think this can be overstated enough, Bill is a ridiculously good coach. Our starting QB gets ruled out a day before the game. Lots of extra tests. Game time/day up in the air. Traveling the day of the game. Still has us in position to win this game and holds an incredible offense/QB at bay and had we not had some of the worst QB play I’ve ever seen we’d have had a real shot. The gap between Bill and the second best coach in the league is miles apart.

The thing that I take away from the 1st four games of this year is that there is no team that we've played so far that I was saying " we don't belong on the same field as them". We were competitive with two of the best teams in the league. I think that's a good sign. Kc probably the best team in the AFC and Seattle one of the two best teams in NFC.

If Cam comes back and is healthy, I think we can compete with anybody.

bleh never mind

well tommy had some horrible games his first year as a starter. Stid's stat line doesn't look great but he did some good things out there. Definitely enough to unseat Hoyer as the 2nd string qb.

He's improved in certain ways. Still would like to see a better release.
Tom Brady was an immediate improvement over Bledsoe who just signed the biggest contract ever. Everyone knew that too. He passed every eye test. He had some rough patches but you felt confident in him. Stidham doesn’t have that. He’s looked garbage every time he’s touched the field.

The difference between him and Hoyer today was that he got bailed out of a stupid mistake and time wasn’t an issue.

I’ve watched this sport a long time. Over half the league has some guy on the bench at some point that the fans desperately want to believe in despite all the evidence being to the contrary. Trust me, when you have to be this forgiving of him to find positives.... he’s not going to be a starter

On the INT to Edelman, Stidham put it right where it needed to be. Mathieu misplayed it. If Edelman makes the catch, his momentum is already taking him inside, while Mathieu played the outside shoulder. Jules would have had an easy 5-7 yards or more if he makes a good play after the catch.

That was 100% on Edelman.

He couldn’t throw a flag on the int because forward progress isn’t reviewable and the punt didn’t touch the returner.
You throw it and then haggle with the ref what's reviewable. He was too busy yelling to think about the red flag.

The punt did hit the inside of his ankle, the ball spun differently after the contact.

I like what you wrote and agree with everything except the last sentence. I just don't know about Stidham yet.

We have a good team, should be 4-0. The D is somehow better than last year's even with all our LB's gone. The running game looks real good, and Harris could be a star in the making. The WR's have been better than expected, except for JE of all people. Stidham is a talent, would've been good tonight if he'd started and/or with a week of prep, and he'll be lights out next week vs Denver.

We're solid, I'm really pleasantly surprised.

Defense was excellent. Basically held Mahomes to no TD passes as both of them were glorified handoffs and they should have picked him off a couple times. Biggest play of game was PI on Kelce when the Pats were only down by 3. Make a stop[ there and who knows what happens. Followed that with the BS late hit on Wise and the game slipped away.
