Thoughts on the offense. Given 2 turnovers to work with against maybe the worst D in the NFL they managed 7 points and a missed FG. While we've seen some good things at times this will be a slog. Cam can create some nice runs but the lack of talent on that side of the ball will likely be an issue. Not that I plan to judge this offense by 1 half in the first game of the year. But this game is a good chance to get rolling early and i'm not seeing it.
I'm waiting for a REAL cogent passing attack to emerge. One where Cam gets the snap, sets, steps into his throw and fires to a receiver in time. I've only seen two throws like that. The one to Edelman that he dropped, and the one to Izzo that was caught.
So many lost opportunities in that first half it’s unbelievable! So far our offense is anemic… Newton looks like the guy in Carolina which could still be pretty good but he looks slower and has had several passes bad it done which I can’t quite understand

So far looks similar to last year. Defense still strong and leaning on the run game, woeful passing game. Kicker might hurt us this year, last year we got pretty lucky there
