Work in progress everywhere. Some good things even if the Fins are not a very good team

oh well, still pitching a shutout

Thoughts on the offense. Given 2 turnovers to work with against maybe the worst D in the NFL they managed 7 points and a missed FG. While we've seen some good things at times this will be a slog. Cam can create some nice runs but the lack of talent on that side of the ball will likely be an issue. Not that I plan to judge this offense by 1 half in the first game of the year. But this game is a good chance to get rolling early and i'm not seeing it.

I'm waiting for a REAL cogent passing attack to emerge. One where Cam gets the snap, sets, steps into his throw and fires to a receiver in time. I've only seen two throws like that. The one to Edelman that he dropped, and the one to Izzo that was caught.

Our Kicking situation, on this team, could actually be the difference between 10-6 and 6-10

Looks like Josh is still going to run when he should be throwing!

Happy with a halftime lead, all things considered.

Not great, not terrible.

After watching this first half i can see why brady left. Outside of edelman they don’t have much. This team will scrap offensively.

Pat's should be up by more with 2 int.

Also folk is a bad kicker.
So many lost opportunities in that first half it’s unbelievable! So far our offense is anemic… Newton looks like the guy in Carolina which could still be pretty good but he looks slower and has had several passes bad it done which I can’t quite understand

Btw, RODRIGO just kicked a nice FG for Indy, should have been a Pat

Don’t hold your breath.

So far looks similar to last year. Defense still strong and leaning on the run game, woeful passing game. Kicker might hurt us this year, last year we got pretty lucky there
