It is not surprising that his marriage is struggling.
If the most successful Super Model of all time can’t tell him what to do, the NFL is f***ed!

Brady is going to tear it up in Tampa.

Recently my gripe wasn’t about last season. Belichick drafted a first round receiver (maybe a bad pick), he signed Antonio Brown (who Kraft later demanded to be cut), he traded a second round pick mid season for a receiver (who had a severe ankle injury after his first game , but at least he tried).

The previous season was worse, Belichick surrounded him by utter trash and somehow they still win the Super Bowl.
Fixed it for you

She's not. Complaining your husband isn't at home enough while he's building an absolutely legendary sports career isn't exactly 'trad.
Exactly.. this was a big problem.. gizzy had to be dealt with. I hope she's happy now. ... until the next episode of brazillion drama.

Brady already spent more time playing football yearly than any player in history due to his 9 Super Bowl trips. Playing an extra month then skipping a handful of voluntary work outs after 4 trips to Super Bowl in 5 years is such a non issue it is frightening. Am also fine with someone of his accomplishments making a few family concessions to find the proper balance. You would think that him winning the Super Bowl after skipping the voluntary workouts for the first time would quiet the critics but I guess not.

There is no question that the team was severely undermanned last year offensively. Some was poor planning and some bad luck. Reasonable for him to be frustrated. With the cap situation and BB reluctance to give him more than a 1 year deal I can understand him looking to try something new. I wish he was still here as I think they could have made one more run at it this year but instead I will root hard for Stidham and the Pats while quietly rooting for Brady and TB to win the NFCS.

Thanks for demonstrating your insult ability. Go ahead and explain your point. You know ... making excuses for Tommy .

I already made the point. You'll have to troll someone else.

Interesting. So it looks like everyone here who was ridiculing the media for daring to report that Tom & Gisele were having some marital issues because of course the media must have made up something like that were in fact wrong.

To be fair, that was limited to Andy. But with the many hundreds of posts that he made in one thread about it, I can see why you would think that it was multiple people on this forum putting that out there.

True story. LOL

Wow. “brazillion”... is that a combination of Brazil and zillion?
Shame on a highly successful woman for thinking her husband should be present for their family or that he should bear equal responsibility in the domestic workload! The nerve of “gizzy” to have a voice in her relationship! Is it your take that women should be seen and not heard as well?

Weak. Incomplete point. Brady was bad last year. No excuses, thx. The pick 6 against Miami... sanu was wide open over the middle.

No but it's a partnership. She can't see what his career is? Kinda obvious. Like shes the only mom to drive her kids? She signed up for that job. Just do it, that's all. I really don't want to discuss his personal life.

Most people aren’t playing in their 40’s. Ray Lewis retired because he said he realized he was missing milestones for his kids he wouldn’t get back.

Brady’s kids are hitting that age where you want to be there for all their games and school events. After 20 years of football that’s coming to an end you weigh which thing you won’t get back and football isn’t going to win all the time and it’s not going to be the thing that’s there in the end.
Ray Lewis was 36/37 when he retired. No linebackers make it to that age. He retired because he was old and slow, couldn't cover any body one on one and couldn't track down ball carriers. Saying he retired to spend more time with his kids is a convenient excuse. Not sure what your other paragraph has to do with my comment.

That works both ways. He didn't marry a house wife... I see your point but you gotta think she figured he'd be done by now. Perhaps the last few years, most of which were long offseasons, were not expected. I don't see any issues skipping OTAs just because he wants to with his creds, I certainly don't see an issue him doing it for his wife.

And wrong. Let’s say Stidham is really good. Giselle didn’t need to worry about money or how much they banked before her husband retired.

Stidham’s wife isn’t bringing anything. When he does contracts his wife is going to be there saying “hey you know, if you get hurt or anything happens, whatever you get guaranteed is probably what we are living on most of our lives”
IIRC I think Stid’s father-in-law is wealthy. So I don’t think she will necessarily be paranoid about the cash flow if my memory is right.

edit: Did some research, her father is Tad Brown, CEO of the Houston Rockets.

Sorry, it's probably been asked already, but is there a way to rewatch / listen to this? My wife has a Sirius account...

If your wife has an account with online access you can find the show on here:

Stream top music, sports, news and talk radio on SiriusXM

I believe the interview started around 8am.

Anyone know if you have to be a Stern subscriber to be able to listen to the whole thing?

I’m a Sirius subscriber with online access but don’t have the Howard package. The link tells me I have to subscribe to that first.

After reading the 1/2 dozen dispensations and dissections by the media, I was OK with Tom's interview. His openness was interesting.

I really didn't need to know he and Gis had some issues but, **** what marriage doesn't?

Pre-season dude, gtfoh. There was at least one game Brady targeted Myers 10 times. Some people just repeat garbage they read on twitter.

dude brought up preseason how embarrassing

Did Howard not ask about the immaculate conception with Bridgette Moynahan when he was dating Giselle? If not, he's really gone soft.

I remember Moynahan taking a beating in the tabloids/media when she came out with that.

She was marrying a pro athlete no matter what.
