You can’t just dismiss Gronk. He’s one of the biggest mismatches the game has ever seen. Yes those 3 QBs mentioned have had better wrs through their careers but TB had the GOAT TE and had Hernandez to pair for a few years.
Gronk was great but missed a ton of time due to injury too. Heck the 28-3 comeback was done without him.

I'm not dismissing him. Not even a little.

But if you're asking me if I keep brady and switch out the players between the 3 guys I just mentioned? I would have in a heart beat.

The bigger question is why BB continued to surround him with absolute trash at the WR position. For every decent/above average receiver you can name, there are at least 5 busts from draft picks to FAs. It is really stunning how much Brady won with junk especially compared to the other great QBs.
Recently my gripe wasn’t about last season. Belichick drafted a first round receiver (maybe a bad pick), he signed Antonio Brown (who Kraft later demanded to be cut), he traded a second round pick mid season for a receiver (who flopped, but at least he tried).

The previous season was worse, Belichick surrounded him by utter trash and somehow they still win the Super Bowl.

I enjoyed it. Not a big fan of Stern, asking about Gronk's junk and Brady's sex life, but that's his shtick. It is what it is. But it was fun to listen to Tom for an extended period.

NEP have more offensive Pro Bowlers than the Dolts.

Great.

I take reggie wayne and marvin Harrison over branch and givens any day but hey, atleast we got some quality offensive lineman!!!

Interesting. So it looks like everyone here who was ridiculing the media for daring to report that Tom & Gisele were having some marital issues because of course the media must have made up something like that were in fact wrong.

...but if you took them over Moss and Gronk then you are a fool

It feels like its blasphemous to talk "****" about gronk by stating truths.

Hes the goat. But the amount of actual impact he had was less than people realize.

I was thinking the same thing.

OK! and Us Magazine were right....for once

Obviously I would not.

But they were never a duo for us to begin with. What? 4 or 5 games on moss back nine?

If were mixing and marching then sure, the Patriots had the best offense.

Imagine if we had Moss and Gronk together in their primes. Man.

Yea that would of been great.

But Harrison and wayne for example did share their primes and it was during an era where we had to watch reche Caldwell and 40 year old troy brown.

Brady has had a good amount of weapons but hes also had to deal.with some real dog **** that frankly cost them atleast one superbowl.

Your core argument is the offensive talent Manning had was more than what Tom had.

Correct?

From 2001 to 2015 I take the weapons manning had over what Brady did. Including gronk and moss.

Between colts and Broncos those weapons would of resulted in more superbowls from those years.

so, sounds like Brady made the decision a long time ago to leave the patriots.

’That was a big part of our marriage that I had to check myself because she’s like, ‘I have goals and dreams too. … You better start taking care of things at the house.’

The Brazilian Yoko. We don't want our stars to marry women with goals and dreams. Stidham's wife's goal has already been met, to be the wife of a professional athlete. That's perfect.

Six. Rings. More than anyone, ever. (yes yes I know Pittsburgh has that many. Not in one run) Their. System. Works.

Yes, Bill sucks at drafting WR's.

It sounds like he knew at the beginning of last season, but we still don't know who made the decision. He could have known that the Pats didn't want him. Maybe that was also part of his obvious frustration during the season.

Yes.

And some years the Pat's didnt give brady enough to win.

Both those things can be true.
