Commen sense tells me the # of infected people with no symptoms must be a lot higher than 50%.
50% is for all people tested.
But geez most people with no symptoms probably haven't been tested.
I could have it and not know it.

Those 200K confirmed cases are more like 400K have it or had it and god knows how many have it with no symptoms

It's comforting to know that a lot of us have had it and had no symptoms.

I just wish we had gotten moving on making tests sooner because it'd be really nice if we could all easily get tested. The uncertainty of this thing has to be the part that wears on you the most.

Never wearing a mask. Have never used sanitizer.

Geesh...hysteria is no way to live.

Rational judgement beats hysteria.

In Ohio we have 105 deaths from Covid.

In ONE weekend in Cleveland, we had 150 people die from Viral Pnemonia.

The median age for Covid deaths in Ohio (announced yesterday).

78.

Ohio parks are open. Golf courses are open. Gun stores and ranges are considered essential services.

Glad I live in a relatively free state. I can legally drive to my gun range, with a loaded Glock 19 on my passenger seat, no mask, and nobody bats an eyelash.

I'm sure there are now millions who now avoid you by way more than 6 feet.

Half of infections are transmitted by people who don't know they are infected.

And when the virus comes for you, SHOOT IT!

Thanks for contributing to the greater good of others.
You could be a carrier ... just think about that for a moment.

You're a freaking ignorant moron ... I don't mind saying it.
try using what few brain cells you obviously have left.

Yeah, wearing a mask because in Asia, and it makes the locals more comfortable when you do it. And we want the locals to be comfortable with us. There's starting to be a bit of a backlash against foreigners here.

I was lackadaisical at it at first. Some days I wouldn’t wear one as it seemed to make shop people nervous but now, everywhere I go, I’m wearing it. I also don’t go anywhere much anymore as the food and other supplies have dwindled. I was at the store the other day and noticed 3 plates from Indiana and one from Ohio. I decided to shop elsewhere. Not from my usual aversions but from a practical angle.

Now, everyone knows my hate for Ohio but they are still Americans sort of Ugg’ god, I have to spit these words out. Still sort of American so I can’t wish this on them but I will not shop with them. I don’t even have my dresser drawer full of rabbit feet anymore! It’s a disaster

Wearing one today. 1st day. Hate it.

Yup. Wish I had one of those masks with the exhale valve.

Darn things get uncomfortable in minutes.

Will really suck in the summer.

If we need to go into summer, I suspect that surgical masks will be readily available by then. They aren't all that uncomfortable.

Some glimmer of hope here as the experts think that we could be approaching the peak of the outbreak. However still forecasts of multiple deaths to come. Of course the media are quick to jump and ask when will the shackles come be off and what are the exit strategies. Just bizarre to think that all of a sudden the doors will be opened and we can all go about our lives as if nothing has happened. I suspect there is a long way to go yet and this will be a slow staged event

75% of the people that took the poll here say they don't wear masks. That's incredible at this point in time. I wasn't at first but that changed quickly.

Let's hope.

Amazon is looking all over the world for suppliers. I wouldn't be surprised if they put in the capital to start factories. There are billions of dollars to be made selling surgical masks for the indefinite future.

I suspect that (as is the case in Asia), there will be some who use masks in every flu season, and whenever they have any symptoms and go out in public.
