I don’t feel super confident that they’ll play football this year, but it’s better than wasting the little bit of money that I had left in my account on stupid table games. No use having it in there with sports currently canceled.

On that note, I still have about 5 bucks remaining to waste on table games, and my comeback is going to be one helluva story. :D
Good thing they added that extra game

I don’t see how gatherings of 75,000 people will be enabled again before a vaccine is widely available and distributed. The amount of time on that seems far away.

Interesting thing is if they cancel football, would Tom just retire?

:)

Believe it or not, Arians will work with Brady to have a playbook that works for all the TB resources.

I'm sure it will be perfect. ;)

Doubt it. Just hasn’t announced it yet

I'm not a 100% convinced he's going to play a single snap for Tampa with the way things are going...

Last I heard they were talking about an 18 month quarantine. People would legit go crazy being locked up that long

Perhaps. There is also a chance they go 6-10 and score 19-22 pts a game. Then what ?

It's absolutely not possible. Haven't you heard that Tampa and Tom are going to the SB?

You think so? Edelman and Chung’s contracts both run through the 2021 season; I suspect if Edelman is gone it’s now via a trade rather than next year, and Chung will only be gone if he looks done. Gilly’s contract is very affordable in light of the anticipated cap explosion and he’s still the best CB in the league. JMac isn’t under contract for 2021, you’re right there. However I strongly doubt the Pats set up DMac’s contract the way it is if they just planned on his being here for one more season.

Hightower I could see leaving if he’s not happy about his LB buddies going off and getting paid, and if BB thinks injuries have taken their toll on him. I think he’s a guy BB really likes though; he’s called him Mr. February and you know what that means to BB.

We do need to sign some front six/seven players. At very least, we need a NT and a LB.

If there was ever a time with the amount of knowledge technology and brainpower this is it. I'm sure there are lsbs and scientists working around the clock. The will of the human being will conquer this

Yes, we will likely have a treatment by the end of the summer. Then, the next wave will be treatable, as the the flu is now treatable. I would remind you all that 10,000-60,000 DIE from the flu every year in the US. However, a vaccine will likely take 18 months, presuming that the government doesn't allow it to be used early.

Winston has 24 units in Tampa territory that defense was put through hell by him jeez

The real reason Brady left? He’s started 283 games in his career for the Patriots and had to end it at that number

Pro: Instead of 2 million people dying, they’ll keep it in the thousands.

Con: People will complain about having to spend time with their families watching TV.

Offensive line sacks/pressures are quarterback stats as much as actual blocking stats.

See: Solder, Nate.
See: Brown, Trent.
See: 2011 Broncos vs. 2012 Broncos
See: Watson, DeShaun
Glad to see I'm rubbing off on the forum. ^^^^

Now repeat ... The running game matters, RB's don't.

A part of me was hoping that Brady would have a McDaniels-Leaving-The-Colts-@-The-Altar kind of change of heart.....but since it is now past 4PM EST on 3/18 and the 13.5M dead money is on our cap..... it's really over....unless Brady takes a waaaayyy below market deal to stick around.

I think it will be earlier and you don't need to remind me about flu deaths. It's been plastered by media and leaders. Providing numbers to justify deaths is not a righteous path.

Go watch Bucs highlights and you’ll see why it was an easy decision over staying and throwing to 8.1 yards per catch Sanu, jet sweep Harry, the new law firm and those TE’s.....if you want to call them that.

Edelman is the only guy worth respect. He should request a trade or release.
