Bill doing alot of good things in free agency. Love the moves!

Look, I think Newton is as big of a clown as you do. HOWEVER, if he is healthy, he is a beast, and has the talent to make up for the incredible lack of talent that the Pats have right now. If the Pats dont want to tank, he might be the best viable option.

Have McDaniels dust off his Tebow playbook, the Pats have a whole new offense that nobody has seen before. It has to be better than Stidham.

Want to see the money
He would of been great competition for Stidham
Now my QB plan is Herbert or Cole McDonald to sit behind and compete with Stidham if Tom doesn’t come back.
Throwing this out there. Derek Carr to the Pats? Gruden has contempt for this kid. His numbers were pretty good with less talent than Brady had.

2019
Raiders
70.4 completion
4,054 yards
21 TDs
8 INT
100.8 QB rating

Mayock and BB have a good relationship.

As another fly in the ointment.......In fact, it would make perfect sense for Brady in Las Vegas.

Would be a lot more interesting if his cap number was more manageable.

The 18.6M is all salary. They could give him an extension and make a lot of that disappear.

Teddy Bridgewater was with #Panthers OC Joe Brady in New Orleans in 2018. If anyone knows what Bridgewater can do at this stage of his career, it's Brady. One to watch with Cam Newton expected to move on.

True.

Just not sure they'd commit and jump into a multi year deal with him (or almost anyone) right away.

But there are certainly ways to make it work.

It's not strange we have no money
My theory? Trade Hightower and his $11mm salary. He's not a difference-maker.
Cannon? Pretty bad last year. Rather have a rookie play Matador than a guy making $9mm
Chung? Losing a step. Dinged often. Saves almost $6mm,
Harmon? back up Safety getting $5.5mm.
Gostkowski? I would gamble with Nick Folk and save $5mm.
We clear the decks of some players that are declining and get $35mm back in the till.

How about replacing everyone with bonobos and clear up even more space while optimizing draft picks?

Harmon wouldn't be a backup if we got rid of Chung. Also, calling Hightower "not a difference maker" was probably not the best lead-off to build credibility.

I think the Patriots' pitch to Bridgewater should involve naming a city, a university, and a hospital after him.

That isn’t how the cap works. None of your numbers are correct.

Not Bridgewater please
Let's just trade for Grap
Or trade for Rosen
Of sign XFL star PJ to compete with Stidham.
I don't want to give big money for Teddy that's the definition of a 500 team

Am I mistaken or didn’t you have stidham and lock as your faves at qb last year?

Mariota is what hurt me
We need to hit the receiver and linebacker in this draft.

Great.....Just great! Now add two years of getting them ready to play....yuch. Remember BB is a great coach. "He may not be the best Drafter, but his noted methodology of swapping for more picks that he then doesn't Draft well for either."

Please let's not count on the Patriots to Draft there way back to the Top.

BB actually is best at acquiring talent from other Teams or those that are reclamation projects. He has about a 60%-70% win record.
Last years Team had some decent examples:
Van Noy
Collins (second tour)
Chung (second tour)
Guy
Shelton
Burkhead
Bolden (second tour)
Simon

BB can do better.

Yes I did
I would rather have someone compete with Stidham but if they are saying he's not ready not a Jag like Teddy B
Then go get your binkie Jimmy
Trading for Rosen is trading for someone who has talent and can be developed or compete with Stidham.
Mariota going to the Raiders hurts me even though he hasn't technically signed the contract yet.
