The Tom Brady rumor thread

As I have demonstrated on multiple occasions, they have the money available, with the combination of immediately free and post-restructure/cut money.

But you have to fill those positions then . Can they get a wideout and tight end to boot?

Tampa is a lot better than Arizona was and its not even close. But yeah, I just can’t see Brady taking that team past the first round even with the receivers in place.

That O line. I don’t know. A division with brees likely and matt ryan.

Here is a wild card thought, I once heard Jerrah say that he would write any size check to win another SB. Dak is wanting stupid money, what if Jerrah offers Brady stupid money? They have a tremendous o line, Elliott ,
Whitten, and hopefully they could resign Cooper. Dallas cold franchise Prescott, and then remove the tag once they sign Brady. Or not tag Dak at all and franchise Cooper.

I think it’s stupid to give Dak all that money. His record against winning teams was atrocious so why overpay him when you can get greatness for 2 seasons with Brady?

Mariota is going to cost us more than I thought.
2 year deal 20 Mill?
Anything other then that is too much for Marcus.
Brady to Raiders Carr traded to Tampa?

Yes, though IMO a smart move would be to try using one of the 3rd round picks to bring back a TE or WR.

We are short on cap space and he wants a team around him. He might as well go to the raiders or chargers and compete with mahomes if he wants money.
Don’t be silly. Tom has never asked to be the highest paid, but he’s always been somewhat near the top. You can’t expect him to play for half of what Ryan Tannehill just signed for. Not even remotely realistic.

Hopefully the Chargers, Raiders, Buccaneers come to their sense too. What could a 43-year-old QB possibly give them beyond ticket sale? Tom needs to take that one year deal with the pats if the reports are true.

So with it being only the pats and bucs...there's a 50/50 chance Brady stays or leaves :p:p:p

The problem is the Bucs are reportedly set to give Brady everything he wants...

Just want Tom to stay for the sole purpose of compiling a list of media members to tar and feather.

Really? You don’t think Brady can give these teams more wins than what they saw with the likes of Winston and Carr over the next 2 seasons?
I think all 3 of these teams could be in the playoffs this year with Brady.

I hope Tampa throws 30 a year at him. Have fun with that. Even a 43 year old TB won’t be enough down there. Hell his long ball isnt way at it once was and even Evans can’t solve that.

Is Mariota really a 10 million dollar QB?

Have this bad feeling this is where Tom whores himself out to Indy, who wasn’t interested before because they figured they were wasting their time.

Yeah wouldn’t shock me. As I said earlier, he has some baaaaaaaaaad advisors including Super G if what all that was reported is somewhat true. This is making him look horrible at this point and that’s really a shame.

No good team in their right mind is gonna sign this dude for big money. It’s idiotic.

Brady with that offense down there is basically the same situation that manning walked into in Denver.

Brady can only control his side of the ball.

Manning was 36 when he went to Denver. 8 years younger.

I would put it much higher than that, that Brady stays. Arians (and Leftwich) doesn't run anything remotely resembling the Erhardt-Perkins system- and it's very vertical, which is the last thing you want for a 43 year old arm, never mind a QB learning a completely new offense, overnight, or, the team getting a completely new corp of receivers which is unlikely.

Assuming that all this is true, that only the Bucs and maybe Raiders or Chargers are the only teams left, BB is going to scoff and call Yee's bluff, that is, if Yee is dumb enough to try and play these teams off each other.
