By and large that's a sane enough attitude, but when somebody comes in and tries to make delightful small talk about how the holocaust is overblown and Jews assassinated kennedy and the like, suddenly I find myself glad that someone "sensitive" has sent up the bat signal.

Come on man. There's something to be said about "don't do what would destroy the board if everybody did it." From time to time, it's not "those sensitive crybabies" that are the problem.

We had a guy here who tried to justify the Nazi's ... he is now gone.

I’ve yet to see anyone “ATTACK” you. I’ve seen some posts where people react negatively to your posts. Some were a little too direct and were deleted. Others were simply critical and are still up. None seemed to fall into a “personal attack” range as far as I can tell.

Didn’t Ian ask you to let this go?

Okay, it's not personal.... but it's okay for people to personally attack me because you feel insulted by something I said (I insulted no mod at all). Got it. I can see we will be solving nothing in this thread.

I see that some have been deleted now, only after I mentioned it. And no, Ian did not ask me to accept people personally attacking me. I believe he asked me to let go the past targeting that had occurred, which I have.

I have no doubt the fallout and angry PMs are hell, but participating in the GDT without the power to kick people out of it is no picnic either.

The entire cast of the I-Can't-Wait-To-****-On-The-Patriots Players need to be booted from the GDT for life. Ashley totally allows reasonable negative reactions, as she should. But there's a very clear difference between expressing anger with the team for failure to execute and what certain posters in the GDT are there to do. Specific people always try to cast what they're doing as somehow reasonable when nobody with the emotional maturity above an angry chimpanzee would view what those posters are saying as reasonable.

The toxicity of the GDTs has been a problem and the butt of jokes for years.

Reading those, at times you'd think that some of the SB winning teams were worse than the 2017 Browns.

The older I get, the more I enjoy Patsfans. I love all of it : the crazy overreactions, the quips, the Ray Lewis talk. I also love the support received by those who started posts from places of desperation and sadness. Some of the people on here contacted those in need.

@Ian you are good people. You are fair and patient. I don’t blame you for having the mods’ back. They help you. Many of us on here understand that.

My plan is to continue visiting. I like it here.
