The point being that the Pats defense is weaker against opponents on the ground than they are through the air. The Tits are an offense that can exploit that. We should be able to move the ball against their D, too. This should be a big game for both Michel and Burkhead. They need to be the focal point of the game plan.

I dunno. Henry's strength is getting to the edge, not between the tackles where guy and shelton have done good work of late. Collins will have to wake up from whatever 2nd half slumber he's been in to counter that. I'm not confident a light switch will go on.

I bet the Titans against the colts in week 13. The titans fell behind and came back and won.

The Colts didn’t have Mack or Hilton but the other Indy backs are decent. Tennessee did a very good job against that O line But Frank Reich was scheming guys open all day

Yup. You’re right and I’m wrong. Just double checked. Nevertheless, the point remains. The team has to be able to run the football to have success on offense. The Tits will just sit in Cover-1 and choke off everything between the numbers. The run needs to get us into manageable 2nd and 3rd down situations.

The Patriots O can't run and stink at passing. The Titans do both well there won't be any Homefield Advantage here. The Game could be over by halftime if the Patriots fall behind yess our clueless O and play calling is that bad. The proof is in the pudding we haven't beaten a remotely Good Team all year FACT.

They ran on Buffalo, which has a better D. Titans gave up over 100 yards rushing each game in weeks 15 and 16. They can beat this D.

I see what you did there.

I think the Pats would need to play a complete game like they just did against Buffalo. I think a lot of people have some shaky faith that they are capable, based on what we just saw. Jekyll-n-Hyde football is very hard on the nerves.

Hyde gained 104 on 26 carries that isn’t exactly eye popping. They have one of the better run Ds in the league this is undeniable. It’s going to be tough. Not Impossible but tough

Popped over too football outsiders to check out some of the final numbers on our offensive line. We finished dead even with colts for adjusted line yards. The Colts O line is praised as being one of the best in the league. The Colts Adjusted RB yards was about .7 to .8 higher than new England’s.

these aren’t end all be all stats but very interesting
