NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION NFL week 14 official thread other games

There's a generation of Pats fans who don't understand how unthinkable winning a single SB was for us. 76, 85, 96 were teams that would tease you but of course they'd always fail to get there for one reason or another.

We were THE laughing stock of the league. Think Browns, Bucs, and Lions.
The Pats were never on the same level of those teams. They were a middling franchise and made TWO superbowl pre bill and Brady. They had a couple of winning and a couple of losing seasons with 2 superbowl appearances. Just an average franchise. I hate this narrative that they were like the browns bucs and lions of today

And a lot of fans missed out on the mid-late 90’s AFC East. Their rivalry’s were awesome to watch. Most of them were prime time matchups. And 4 out of 5 teams making the playoffs in 1998?

Exactly. Every team (even the late 90s jets) were solid.

Saints dont know the rules

unreal no PI...

Josh Allen is such a fraud. Hope he gets a massive contract.

Fouts in drama queen mode again

Sean Peyton has given up on challenging those

I hate to be that guy, but it feels like the refs are only calling pi on buff.

Yeah the ‘96 Pats were the other “Cinderella” team to the Jaguars, but they needed a massive upset of the Broncos to get to the Super Bowl. Broncos would’ve embarrassed them, again.

That bills defense has to be worned out.

there was a reason why we were affectionately called the Patsies by other teams fans
