It’s likely not anti-Patriot so much as it is anti-guy who acted like a jerk to get out of a long term contract he just signed to go to another organization. The owners are going to do whatever is in their power to discourage that kind of thing and this drawn out exempt list saga is likely an example of that.

Forget whether or not it will happen, I find it mind boggling that there are actual “Patriots fans” on here who don’t want a very poor and struggling offense, that clearly doesn’t have what it takes to win a title as currently constructed, to try and re-sign one of the best WR in the game.

When I see someone say that all I can think is you can’t be a serious fan. If you don’t want this team with a 42 year old Brady, on a contract year no less, to get as much help as possible to win another title, you can’t be a true fan.

Exactly - - anyone who claims he didn't completely breach his contract in Oakland is lying to themselves.

The mystery is why the league didn't ban him immediately after the Oakland thing. Dude choked a GM (and that was AFTER a slew of other attempts to break his contract).

The NFL should have banned him from the league within minutes of his Oakland act.
