Patriot's players still open to Antonio Brown reunion.

Me too. I want another championship.
Exactly.

Brady inst getting any younger. I think they know they HAVE to if they want a chance. The blocker is clearly Robert.

During those halcyon days when we could just cut players because of potential issues, I was OK with letting him go. I didn't really care either way. Now I'm all on board with getting him out there. I think the players and coaches were good with him. He'd come back. All of AB's ire seems directed at Kraft.

Having said that, I don't think it'll happen.

He's going to for sure be put on the exempt list should any effort be made to bring him back, correct?

I feel like that's really the main hang up right now. I'm not sure what people expect to happen.

Granted, I see the whole "let's bring him back and force the NFL's hand" - but if teams have been told to stay away, that he will be out on the exempt list... Why bother? Forcing the NFL's hand in the... NFL would just make no sense. They can do whatever they want. They wouldn't be beholden to anything, including precedent (as many have noted that it would unprecedented given the nature of the lawsuit.)

I'm not trying to take a dump on anyone, I just genuinely wonder what people clamoring to bring him back actually expect. Lemme know!

A security guard at work announced to me this morning that the Pats had brought back AB. Of course I was ecstatic ready to dive online to this thread. Instead he shows me a dumb not credible web report from 24 hours ago. I wanted to strangle the idiot.

That's pretty much the level of the Magical Thinking......

I'd be 100% for bringing him back........if only he wasn't so intent on continuing to show the world how deranged he is. How many more instances of AB doing his career arson act do you need?

.

I would have no problem with AB returning to play for us as first & foremost, I'm a fanboy.
I do think Kraft is the roadblock. I eschew SJW campaigns & don't care if he's a slease.
However, the reality is...
The league is not gonna let him come back to the Patriots even if Bobby K would grow a pair.
Secondly, AB is such a flake that the likelihood he'd do something to piss off Kraft, The League or BB is quite high between now and early Feb, so the minuscule probability of Bobby bringing him onboard again is moot because AB is a loose cannon.

Also, there's the issue of fitting him into the 2019 cap. Dropping the grievance will make no difference to 2019 cap. On top of that, I can't see AB taking vet minimum or whatever low amount would be needed to fit him in.

My understanding is the only reason he is not on the exempt list is because he is not under contract.

Once the league clears him of any "criminal" activity only then is he able to play.

I think it's that simple

A good AB to you all on this fine ABsday. AB's blessings upon you.

PS antoniobrownsfans.com appears to be available?

I also don't think the NFL will let AB return to the Pats. However, if by some miracle that happens, I would gladly take him back. He is definitely a world class dirtbag and a loose cannon. However, a loose cannon can, at times, shoot at your opponents as well as at your own men.

I think deranged is a bit much. Crazy? Diva? Sure. But he is not a psychopath. He’d be a great fit and the players and coaches like him.

If Brady truly wanted him back, he’d be back. In fact, he would’ve been back days after his release.

I disagree with this only because I think Brady DOES truly want him to be back.

If he did, he’d do something about it.

Maybe he has tried. Kraft is the boss and has the final say. Brady is not going to threaten to sit out during a 9-0, 10-1, 10-2 season.

Maybe he did. Who knows?

I would think he’s a pretty powerful guy himself and has some pull after winning only 6 championships and making the Pats relevant in the last 20 years.

"I froze my feet, tried to retire from the sport because of my helmet, choked the GM, just to ditch a playoff contending team that so desperately wanted me that they ignored the first 2 things and gave my $30 million guaranteed.......and that was just August!"
