Patriot's players still open to Antonio Brown reunion.

IMO - If AB wants to come back I'm willing. Kraft has to suck it up and do what is good for the team (aka: Winning games). The current WR group is not doing it. Even SANU cannot get open.

Cannot always rely on #11. If he gets hurt, the season is over for the Patriots.

This team has little to no chance against an elite opponent such as Baltimore. We will be very lucky if we end up in the AFCCG.

Let's assume they agree to bring him back. Who do you release to make the roster spot?
Pshh, minor detail. How about one of the several TEs we have that are basically lampposts?

What did he say again to our team going into the playoffs last year ?
You're sharp enough to know that that team of a year ago also had a HOF TE who ended up being a major factor in getting to and winning the SB, not to mention a completely different OL and a Pro Bowl FB.

I think the Patriots need to release a statement signed by Kraft, Belichick, and Brady stating that they are moving on and will not be resigning Antonio Brown. That remove this unnecessary cloud hanging over the team.
You’d be onto something if Brady wasn’t still pissed off that Brown isn’t on the team.

You’d also be onto something if it was Belichick’s decision to cut him.

Considering it was all Kraft and Kraft alone, that’s not happening.

Love everyone posting the Stephen A Smith rant. Now the Patriots are sure to bring Brown back!

Yeah - not sure why people think this season is the same and last. Its not. Nowhere near the same.

This has been frustrating me too. If you are not signing him under any circumstances simply say so “ we are not signing him. We are moving on. We are not addressing the issue anymore” and deal with the fallout or a statement like “We are not signing AB because we do not have clarification from the league on his status if we add him to our roster”.... it will take approximately 30 minutes for the national media to force the NFL to get off the fence. Right now they are having their cake and eating it to. If Kraft won’t have him Kraft should clarify that publicly to the fan base and end this drama. It’s ridiculous at this point. This guy can help us win a Super Bowl it looks like we won’t win without him. That should be an obvious decision.

Mike Reiss basically said ' he's not coming back' which is about as close to the Patriots making a public statement as you can get.

But that also means there's still a chance. Haha

This level of dis functionality associated from the Patriots I would have thought impossible 10 months ago. It’s Browns like.

I think it's just a combination of growing pains and Brady getting on the same page as his receivers. Hopefully it'll come together soon.

Apparently some DT named Albert Huggins warrants a roster spot instead of someone like AB who can actually help the team.

Huggins can play special teams and is a backup long snapper; he did it at div 2 Loma Linda State...;):D:D

Yeah and that was definitely the sentiment of people in December right after they lost to Pittsburgh last year and not "Brady is in decline", "Gronk is cooked", "the running game is inefficient", "the redzone offense is a disaster" and so on.

It just goes back to how people retroactively change how they think they felt about the team based on them winning a title 1.5 months later. But for whatever reason being back in the same position as last year the lesson is not learned and judgement is made again on the now and not where the team could be in 4-5 weeks.

Most probably because this year is different. Again. Like every time we go down this road. Right ?

A security guard at work announced to me this morning that the Pats had brought back AB. Of course I was ecstatic ready to dive online to this thread. Instead he shows me a dumb not credible web report from 24 hours ago. I wanted to strangle the idiot.
