I guess this is the new AB thread about possible speculation about AB joining Pats based on creditable news sources.

Considering we have news reports TODAY about the possibility

Patriots players and coaches still open to Antonio Brown reunion, but there's no timetable for NFL's decision

this is very much relevant to the Patriots forum and the fact members want to discuss it should validate its relevance.

I have no idea why the other thread was locked besides being an indication of a heavy handed approach about what Patriots related news and content should and shouldn’t be discussed here. It’s unnecessary to moderate this discussion.

If it were going to happen I believe it would of been done by now. With each week passing the odds become less and less of him returning imo.

Thank the Lord...a new AB thread

Let's be honest though.... Everyone that claims to be tired of it will be in here commenting just like in all the others.

Mods can we close this thread?

Mods please don’t ever close this thread.

Oh god, why would you start this thread. The other thread was a thousand posts of nonsense. Mods just please close this one too

I think you are being duped.
The way I read this is a reporter (and a poor one) assumes kraft won’t sign brown so he asks players “would you accept ab I’d he was signed back on the team” and they said sure.

Three possibilities here:

1. Kraft was open to signing A.B. again. But the league can't guarantee that he won't be placed on the exempt list.

2. The league said A.B. won't be placed on the exempt list. But Bobby isn't willing to sign the head case again.

3. The league has told the Pats he will be placed on the exempt list if signed. And Bobby isn't interested in bringing him back anyways.

I'll go with option 3.

Since it's an actual report  - I'll let this thread go...because I don't want 5 more popping up while these stories continue to swirl.

The only thing worse than the AB thread that won’t die is starting a new one over absolutely nothing.

Fùck Kraft.

I've mentioned this in another thread, but I'll say it again: I don't know if this logic holds considering prorated cap hits and our cap situation.
