We are on to Houston...

Idc who we play as long as we’re at home.

I think we will learn a lot more about the Pats offense on Sunday night than we could in the rain or with Newhouse at LT.

If the Patriots in the playoffs beat KC then Ravens then SF to win it all... is that more impressive a playoff gauntlet than 2004 where they nearly shut out the record breaking Fivehead offense, put up 34 on the best defense in the league in Pittsburgh and then beat a really good Eagles team that I think was better the one we lost to in SBLII?

I think it might be and that’s saying something...

Colts ran the ball down their throats. I think Sanu rests that ankle for one more week. Not impressed by the Houston D.

As much as I want to see Mohammed out there, I believe you're probably right.

KC win and a Pats win knocks HOU to 4.

That’s the scenario where the Pats only need to go through one of Bal or KC and not both to get back to the Super Bowl

Not necessarily. If the Pats end up the 2 seed, they may face KC in the Divisional and Baltimore in the Championship. Right?

Lets hope that happens . This board will melt in panic before those games :-D

If nothing else, it has the potential to provide some great new signatures!

Can our team score more than 20 points in this game? It’s been awhile.

Red zone offense is suspect, we get a lot red zone opportunity with very little touchdown to show for.

I'd love to see more hairy in the endzone.

24-14 Pats

If Sanu and Dorsett can make it back for this game, I think we're really going to see the offense turn a corner in this game. For one, I don't fear the Texans defense as much as in years past. For another, if what we saw out of the running game against the Cowboys is legit, we have four players in Edelman, Sanu, Dorsett, and Watson that are savvy enough to take advantage of playaction AND all sit firmly in Brady's circle of trust.

Health willing, we're going to start seeing a base offense of Michel/White, Watson, Edelman, Dorsett, Sanu, with hopefully a good chunk of no huddle going forward.

Yes, simply because our ‘19 squad is weaker than the ‘04; particularly offensively.

Side note...that stadium is massive.

I sat in 616 (Profile pic) for SB 51 and feel like I was gasping for air in Denver

I expect a loss and then win out.

Watson has come really close to beating NE twice, now he gets us. He will be very tough to defend with his dualthreat abilities.

Count me as another who thinks they lose at Houston and then win out. I don't think Watson will be very good against this defense because they can account for his running; Jackson is really on a totally different level. However, the Patriots offense has struggled for a long time, and it looks like they'll be short handed once again. I think this is the game they finally lose because their offense is just so terrible and then they start to bounce back and rebuild from there. If they are rolling with the rookies at WR, the communication and confidence factor can be the difference between winning a home and losing a road game against an above average squad. Had them at 15-1 on the year and this is the first time I've come off the original prediction, but I just feel like this offense is a complete mess right now and can rebound against KC (at home) and Cincy, both of whom are very vulnerable, and Patriots will be a lot healthier then.

I see HOU scoring 20 points, not really a lot for that offense.

I haven't a clue how many points our defense and special teams will need to provide.

Obviously, our offense is a question mark.
