Damn, Early Bird sure gets around.I think AB should be brought back because a 42 year old six time Super Bowl champion QB wants him back. Brady needs to be motivated to keep playing. It seems this year has been a grind for him it feels like maybe this is the end for him. He deserves every available weapon in the arsenal to go out a winner with number 7. Brown hasn’t committed a crime. Doesn’t seem like a great guy but an unreal football talent. Welcome to the real world snowflakes. Honestly to this point seems like the NFL is engaging in near collusion to me. We’re already paying him. We might as well pay him. I’m not worried about the damage in bringing him back. I’m more worried in the damage of not bringing him back. How does the legacy of Brady look if he suits up for someone else or calls it quits because of a spat with ownership. That’s not how this should end. This should be a football decision. Until I hear Bill say he doesn’t want AB I’ll continue to think this is about Krafts ego. Brady has sacrificed as much as anyone for this team. Kraft threw him under the bus to appease the NFL during Deflategate. They talk about the Patriot way and team first. Now it’s Krafts turn.... if he can go to bat for fn Meek Mill he can certainly go out on a limb for TB12 and get him what he wants. The rest of the league doesn’t like your team Bob. Nothing will change that. Get off the high horse and accept and embrace that. And seriously if you’re caught getting Handy’s you should expect some public shaming it comes with the territory. I personally find it a little disturbing And somewhat embarrassing the lengths our owner gots to to be part of pop culture. If he was the owner of Hobby Lobby I could see him putting his foot down over AB on moral grounds. He’s not. He’s partying with rappers and getting rub and tugs from Filipinas. There is no moral high ground from which to stand. If we come up short this year with no AB and Tom calls it quits Kraft will gain nothing in the press and warrant blame from the fan base. Let’s give Tom what he needs to win number 7. The defense and special teams may not be able to carry us the rest of the way. AB would certainly help.
Main reason why no one is signing him:Can someone please explain to me why they arent re sjgning him? From what ive seen it looks like the organization has to pay him anyways. They may aswell get their moneys worth and just play him. Not to mention he would be a massive asset to the offense.

ThanksMain reason why no one is signing him:
—The NFL is currently doing a thorough investigation and they have been known to 1) drag their heels and 2) arrive at predetermined conclusions, so there is at least a 50/50 chance that Brown doesn’t play again this season, probably higher. Remember that there are two separate accusers. They made sure to release a statement when NE cut him which was seen by many as a warning to other teams regarding his availability. If NFL executives truly believed that one of the best WR talents in the league was just sitting there ripe for the picking, multiple teams would be tripping over themselves trying to sign him.
Some other possible reasons why NE (specifically) isn’t signing him:
—They feel confident that they’ll be able to receive cap credit for 2020 which by my estimation, would be significant since it would be for both 2019 and 2020. I don’t know the specifics as well as other posters, but it’s approximately 10m dollars. It became apparent that Brown knew about the threat of a lawsuit way before he signed here, so I believe that will be their main argument.
—They don’t like the fact that Brown lied to them, and they certainly don’t care for how he handled himself even after they kept him and played him vs Miami. Not only did he continue to feed the fire by sending text messages, he brought up one of the accusers children, so he comes off looking creepy in the process. Finally, as if that weren’t enough, he gave the organization a parting gift of the middle finger by calling out team owner Bob Kraft, personally.
Ultimately, I think it comes down to the fact that he hasn’t been cleared of the investigation and they have no idea as to whether or not he’ll play, so they aren’t going to risk their stance in terms of winning the grievance hearing and recouping the cap space for 2020. It would look pretty dumb of them if they cut him, refused to pay him, and argued that the prior knowledge of his pending lawsuit prevented him from doing his job, only to re-sign him and watch him sit on the commissioner’s exempt list or serve a suspension. He would have to be cleared first, and the most recent report states that they’re at least a few weeks away from making any type of determination. If he is somehow cleared, they should at least consider it, but for me the idea of Goodell and the other 31 owners allowing NE to acquire a player like that just in time for the playoffs seems like a pipe dream. I just don’t think it’s going to happen.
Lmao, your crazy if you think im scrolling through 60 pagesThere are literally hundreds of pages of discussion on that topic already available on this forum.

You say all this but I guarantee if AB were on the field and dominating you’d have your pants off like the rest of us.Another excellent example of how crucial a dominant WR is to a team's success.........

If you say so. But you don’t have anyone to back you up on that...Didn't in Game 2 when he was here and looking dominant.

No, it’s the T1001. The T1000 lost his password and hasn’t been back since. But the T1001 is definitely not the T1000, and how dare you suggest otherwise.T1000 goes back in time to argue with people on PatsFans.com.
The Terminator franchise is really reaching these days.
From an offensive standpoint obviously he would be (and was ) a game changer. Obviously BB and kraft feel he is either going to be suspended soon or will be too much of distraction to make it worth it....I hope our O has enough to compete with high powered Baltimore, KC and SFCan someone please explain to me why they arent re sjgning him? Did that end up being some kind of shadow ban? Don't outright delete his account, but refuse to give him his password? No, it’s the T1001. The T1000 lost his password and hasn’t been back since. But the T1001 is definitely not the T1000, and how dare you suggest otherwise.
