Why did Pats not kick a FG on the last play they had the ball instead of throwing it out of bounds. FG should have gotten the lead to 7 pts in case of any shenanigans.
Way too much risk. BB doesn't care about your point spread.

Don't shoot the messenger. Both the rookies played soft today. Meyers dropping that awesome long bomb only to drop it on the hit was particularly galling.
We hear the same "we suck at this, we suck at that "crap from you every week. You suck at analyzing.

I think it's too much of a risk, if it gets blocked or a bad snap and the Cowboys get a td, not worth the risk.

They were hoping to run the time off so there was no chance for another play. Whereas a fg, leads to a possible kickoff return.

Was that Pats fans or Cowboys fans? That's the most opposing fans I've ever seen at Gillette. Granted, it was maybe 10 k Boys fans. But that's still too many.

When Cooper called one late, the “Coooop” sound was notable.

What is that list? lol. I suppose anyone critical of anything going on this list?
Respect. There are definitely posters who rush to NE's defense any time there is slight criticism, but I do find your post to be a bit over the top. While the rookies did make some poor plays, no doubt, they also made some big ones. A rookie scored the only TD of the game. And the other one had some huge catches and gains after the catch in some tight spots where a play needed to be made. If memory serves, Meyers made two of his biggest plays on third downs. That shouldn't be overlooked. Rookies are going to make mistakes because they're rookies. But both of them, especially Meyers, stepped up today to make some critical plays on an injury depleted team against a decent football team in terrible weather. Even Jules had balls go through his hands, though he was having shoulder trouble.

They were 100% confident that the clock would run for their play which was longer than 2 seconds left.

Between Aikman and Jones, looks like blame Garrett time

The refs reset the clock to 5 seconds - and rightfully so - before that 4th down play.

Wet ball. Wet field. Long snap. That was pure playing the percentages of having something potentially go wrong with few/no defenders to stop it (blocked kick) versus eleven defenders to stop it (another "Miami miracle" scenario) with one second on the clock (given the unforeseeable ineptitude of the timekeeper).

The call was the correct one.

Because the biggest chance to lose is a blocked fg attempt

These frickin rookie receivers almost lost us this game. At least 3 dropped/tipped catches that Tom threw perfectly could have been intercepted because of their juggling. We got lucky the damage wasn't worse and we escaped with less than 200 yards throwing and a win.
It was raining like a mutha bro...

maybe you should have asked why they didn't run the ball or take a knee
