Which will be adequateThe good news is that there’s nowhere to go but up.
Well, and correct me if I’m wrong Deus, but it’s weird that Zo and Fauria alluded to interest in AB, then 6 hours laterCurran and Howe say no way it’s not gonna happen. In fact, Curran said one of his sources said “what’s changed since we cut him?”.
Idk, it’ll be interesting what happens if the offense struggles again on Sunday. Brady’s comments tonight didn’t seem great about his mindset
How is it clear? AB apologized to Kraft. Why would BB address an apology made to someone other than him?
Did you watch BBs last press conference while AB was here? Do you remember how that went?
Hi Kontra!
.
Delusional...sure, but a whole lot more realistic than going into next season with Bailey as both the punter and placekicker.
The "Free AB" crowd are conveniently forgetting the events and circumstances which led to his release.Yes and Bill wasn’t prepared for the onslaught of stupid questions at the presser. I don’t blame him.
It’s clear because if it was BB’s decision he would own it, like he does pretty much everything else. Do you recall the reporting saying Kraft intervened? Why would AB direct his wrath and then apologize to Kraft if he wasn’t the one to decide to sack AB?
I don't pretend to have any idea as to whether or not AB is going to be back playing with the Patriots, but Reiss isn't much of a news breaker, and we've seen the entire local media crew be ignorant and/or fooled on numerous occasions. So, for the Shmessy's of the world to be cheering over the possible lack of addition of a high level talent at a position of need is premature.
Deus is going back to his safe space and play with his Pokemon cards...Once again to knock down yet another Deus Strawman poutpost:
1) It's not just Reiss as you claim. It's Reiss/Curran/Howe. So nice try, but no one is fooled.
2) I'm all for adding a high level talent at a position of need. One is at OL and the other is at WR. However, it cannot be a walking time bomb. It has to be a dependable human being. AB singing "I Gotta Be me" was cute and created moderate harm to the team in September - - in January or February it would be something else.
Simple as that. You may now continue to teenage poutpost your Deus emotions .......

Yes, and before that, you sounded the alarm the Chiefs would beat us, and before that the Chargers. I remember. Forgive us if your alarms are hardly alarming.
Put Brady there in place or Rivers. With what to show for it?
The entire AB saga spanning the two large threads here really is like a study in sociology.
God I hope this charade keeps going just for entertainment value.
Biffins, if you end up being right about AB rejoining the Pats I’m going to bug you for powerball numbers for the next 5 yrs.

In his two prior pressers BB handled AB-related questions fine. It was the 3rd presser in which BB stormed off after a couple of minutes because AB went after the artist in the group text.
Do you not think BB was pissed as hell AB didn't comply with their wishes and not curb his social media activity?
That was not "reporting" Those were rumors.
AB is going after Kraft because hes not paying him $9m.
Here is how I think it went down.
-AB threatens artist.
-BB is pissed as hell b/c AB didn't comply with team rules. Was most likely going to be inactive or play sparingly the following game
-NFL is concerned about ABs texts to the artist (this came AFTER the BB presser)
-NFL notifies Kraft/BB of their concerns
-League says it will put him on the exempt list because of the texts
-Kraft/BB asks how long that is. They don't give and answer.
-BB and Kraft discuss if its worth keeping and paying this guy $4.5m on 9/23 while on the exempt list
-BB says no
-AB cut.
For fans to say BB was strong armed in cutting BB are taking a leap.
If you think these two 50 page threads are “large” you should have seen the 60p page thread they moves to the other forum just to try and stop people talking about an issue very clearly relevant to the Patriots!
