31 other teams, even the crappy and mediocre ones, all seem to agree that they do not want AB on their team..

It seems time to move on..
It's been time to move on for over a month but the Kraft haters and the ABers keep stoking the fire

Bump.

I'm not sure what's up with many of these fans. It almost feels like they have grown bored with the usual Patriot path to success and now want the team to complete a Super Bowl run on Ultra Hard Mode. Rather than stick to solid contributors and occasional misunderstood superstars, now we need to rehabilitate the insane divas and go undefeated. Only then will things be interesting enough for those growing unimpressed by the Patriots "merely" winning it all through grit and cunning.

I'm not sure. I do think there are a number of fans who glorify 2007 more than they should. They think AB gave them that kind of potential. Once he was cut, the toy was taken away and now they are throwing a tantrum.

I think many of us who want AB back are Tired of the "Brady is washed up" narrative. We know that if he had real bonafide weapons that talking point will instantly be put to rest. Phillip Rivers is sucking with keenan Allen, Mike Willams, Melvin Gordon, Hunter Henry and a offensive line that DOESN'T have Marshall Newhouse so there is no excuse, phillip rivers is WASHED. On the other hand, Brady has a struggling OL, no tight end that defenses respect, a first round WR that hasn't yet got the green light, and a starting RB (Michel) that is a tell for defenses that we are running 95% of the time when hes in the game. Imagine what brady would be doing right now if he still had AB. I truly believe Brady would be in the MVP discussion and that certainly wouldnt be a "washed up" trajectory.

Do you really think AB would silence the, "Brady is washed up" crowd?

Then the mindless, lazy, hot-take commentary becomes, "Well, Tom has all these weapons that are making it easy for him.".

My advice...stop listening to Max Kellerman and the rest of those uninformed, uneducated, lazy-ass hot-take, sound-bite, say-anything-for-ratings-and-attention idiots.

Brady wants AB on the team.

That’s all that needs to be said.

Why do you even care about it? Caring about it is what enables the mediot losers to exist in the first place.

Ignore the noise.

You’re right. I’m sure AB can get a job as a trainer at TB12.
He may need to review their sexual harassment and appropriate use of company electronics policy first.

Yeah I’m sure Tom Brady wants Antonio Brown to be a trainer at TB12, not on the team catching passes. Good one.

AB IS NOT COMING BACK!!!!

THAT'S all that needs to be said.
Probably not, but the grumpy old men trying to tell everyone how we should feel about it is getting old.

In case you’re lost, this is an Antonio Brown thread.

If you don’t like speculation about him and a return, don’t enter the thread or post in it.

Pretty simple right?

I dont care that much about the mediots as much as im frustrated that Brady's full potential at 42 wont be revealed this year. The older a qb gets the more you need to fortify the offense around him. I believe this is why brady reportedy was pissed about letting AB go. He doesnt have time to teach the nuances of what he expects to UDFA wide recievers and a first round rookie. Add to that no threat at TE and sloppy play on the OL and you have a recipe for Brady's frustration. Not saying we wont win the SB because we will IMO but if Brady was candid i believe he'd tell you he doesnt like being carried by the defense right now.

Tough **** for him then. I expect him to be a professional and do his job, not be a whiny diva. Not understanding why too many people around here want him to be the latter rather than the former.

That’s the reality. You naive young dudes can keep *****ing and moaning and dreaming your madden fantasies but the circumstances have it going in a different direction. We’re on to Philadelphia as some other grumpy old guy would say. The AB drama is for lawyers and the courts and billionaires and their minion.

TB12 has just as much time as every other QB. The pelts on his wall say he has also earned the right to choose how he thought it should be spent during OTAs. That said, those WRs would certainly have benefited from his choosing to spend it with them. There are tradeoffs for everyone in this life, even the GOAT. If skipping OTAs was the price of the domestic balance that allows him to continue playing then the consequences have to be accepted.

Brady has been carried by defenses before and carried some himself.
It is what it is.
