You said you did not trust rookies in the playoffs. I asked why ..

Oh that was meant to be pure sarcasm. People have been saying that Brady only likes vets and does not like playing with rookie receivers. Trying to be funny but I think I failed!

Bill Belichick on how WR N'Keal Harry has looked:

"The window on him [being activated off I.R.] would be through next Tuesday. He's been out there for 2 weeks. He's worked hard. Gotten a lot of reps on the scout team... we'll see how it goes"#Patriots.

Harry with the Scout Team is not what I wanted to hear also with So many Rookies WR's making decent Impacts thought he would be working with the One's some. I mean Sanu just got here he can't be no further along than Harry regarding familiarity or terminology. Harry should more than have the mental part of the Patriots Offense down it should just be going out there and executing on the field now. We can't afford a Reds-shirt type year from Harry I would be pissed.

As long as our O-line can hold its own, Brady owns these b1tches, and our D will shut that LJ run circus down.

Just make the O-line show up!

See I think the secondary will shut it down..problem is when that happens Jackson will be running a lot. Then if all depends on the LBs and if containment is there. This will be a close game.

Spread is Pats -4 right now so really vegas is thinking a TD game which I agree with.
There's WRs are just meh. TE is good.

They don't pass much, its all Lamar, and his legs. The secondary is the last thing I would be worried about. Its stopping the run..... basically Lamar. The Browns did a good job against them and won.

With Jackson, the Chargers made him look terrible last year, if you recall, with the six defensive backs (which they then foolishly tried against the Patriots power running offense). I wonder if the Patriots will try the same thing. I think the idea behind it was to use defensive backs because of their quickness instead of having slower linebackers try to contain Jackson from escaping the pocket.

Blitzing him often isn’t a great idea because he escape and gash for huge gains. The longer he has the ball behind the LOS the better. I think they will play a contain type of defense where they aren’t aggressive but won’t let him out of the pocket. They have a good enough secondary to cover those targets for a while as Jackson panics. I’m guessing we’ll see a lot of blitz looks to get him to rush a decision and then just staying in place to contain against the run.

Which of the following WRs should lose their practice time with the team in order to give Harry snaps with the starters/2s:

Edelman
Sanu
Dorsett
Meyers

The Ravens have been without cornerback Jimmy Smith for all but six snaps of the season opener, but he returned to practice a couple of weeks ago and it appears he’s ready to take the next step back from his knee injury.

Smith said on Wednesday, via multiple reporters in Baltimore, that he is ready to play against the Patriots when they come to town on Sunday night.

AB and Gordon

Sorry to interrupt a good discussion, but I only want to say that I hate the ****ing Ravens.

I just had to get that off my chest.

Thanks for listening. You can go back now to whatever it was that you were doing. Have a great day.

Easily Sanu, IMO.

To win this Game against our Defense the Ravens would have to put up at-least 24 no Team has passed 15 yet advantage Pats. IF our Offense can play a clean mistake free game it could be a blowout Pats.

Sanu is way too essential to help creating mismatches from the inside together with Edelman.

Will be Meyers/Dorsett depending on the initial slices of the offense Harry has gotten. But would not be surprised if over time Harry takes over a lot of Dorsett's boundry plays as well as crossers in the middle that Meyers had success with.

...would not be surprised if over time Harry takes over a lot of Dorsett's boundry plays...

I'll be shocked. Then again, this team has done a lot of very silly **** with the WR position in recent years, so maybe I shouldn't be.

I'm sure this will scare the chicken littles but i'll throw some context to it

'08 Redskins
'09 Steelers
'11 jest
'11 49ers
'12 bungles
'12 Pats (f**k the replacement refs. Tucker missed that kick)
'12 Browns
'13 Steelers
'14 Steelers
'16 Browns
'17 lolphins
'17 Texans

I mean really the only impressive win was the '11 49ers. 6 of the wins were against AFCN and 2 of the wins were against the AFCE which if the Pats are gonna get knocked for AFCE, it could be used against others. Texans were 4-12 in '17.

There's also the Pats side to this kind of stat. Pats in their last 12 road primetime games are 9-3. One of the losses was the 2015 broncos game where the refs hosed the Pats.

The level of consistency rather than who the opponents were is what makes it impressive

We will see. How much would the Ravens have to score for our defense "to have been exposed"? I would say more than 21?

I personally can't see them scoring more than 10-14 with the Lamar the RBQB

B1tch....
