who cares if you get the games in Cleveland or in Alaska? Saying Jackson mostly sucks is complete nonsense.

In Cleveland we actually get the games to actually watch. Your "hero" threw 3 picks against Pittsburgh. he was horrendous against the Browns.

The good news for you is that the two other stooges agree with you.

If your QB can't consistently pass the ball but instead is a rollercoaster of accuracy which makes his team more one dimensional than some like to admit then of course this will be one of the things front and center when you talk about him.

His talent on his legs was never in question and everyone knew he would be able to do a lot of damage with it. And from what I have seen he is getting also a fair share of kudos for that so lets not pretend he is being treated vastly unfair.

What sucks is that he got drafted into a place where his offense has to carry the team. So any of his mistakes will get magnified because they need him to have great games every week due to the way the Ravens' defense plays.

That doesn't change that he still needs to get a grip on the variance in his passes.

In the second half....2018 Week 17.....the Browns shut him down. People act like there is noblueprint out there.

Justin Bethel? Do we think he is going to play something other than ST? I thought he was a ST only player like Slater (break glass in emergency type).

Performing multiple roles is a staple of Belichick's player selections. Justin Bethel is a logical choice to track down Lamar Jackson. He is faster than Jackson, has played against him in practice and is a sure-handed tackler. As I wrote in my post, the Patriots are going to run several guys at Jackson to keep him in check and to be unpredictable.

You must have been shocked and chagrined to see LB Elandon Roberts line up as a fullback to block for Sony Michel. Were you around when Julian Edelman played cornerback?

I will leave this here:
Preston: Patriots are unbeaten but not unbeatable, and the Ravens have a chance in a wide-open AFC

Basically he thinks as long as they have Lamar Jackson at QB, they have a chance against any team, any place. Patriots are good, but not great. Not intimidating and not as dominant as their record indicates.
I read the article and disagree. The Patriots are great and dominant despite their schedule. They are the team that no one wants to play. They will probably lose a couple of games this year. Is that good or great?

Not to mention what they Chargers did to him the next week.

I think we’ll surprise people. Patriots 27-10

The Patriots coverage this last game has not been great. I think we are due for a shutdown game from our secondary again.

Ravens have some success on the ground but Jackson throws 2 interceptions and they can't move the ball through the air.

Ravens 14
Patriots 27

See I think the secondary will shut it down..problem is when that happens Jackson will be running a lot. Then if all depends on the LBs and if containment is there. This will be a close game.

Spread is Pats -4 right now so really vegas is thinking a TD game which I agree with.

The Patriots are a better football team than the Ravens. Nobody is unbeatable.

I would be shocked to see Bethel play defense for the Patriots on Sunday.

Jackson has improved as a passer but he still isn’t anything special. We should be able to lock them down through the air and force about 1-2 turnovers. What we will start seeing against teams is more of a commitment to the ground game to attack this defense. If they have any weaknesses - that’s where it is. So they’ll be able to keep the chains moving on the ground but they’ll eventually have to throw it. I don’t think we’re going to see as much Cover-0 this game as we have previously with this team’s usual emphasis on contain vs attack against mobile quarterbacks.

On offense, we will have to manufacture something. Ravens will probably play a ton of Cover-1 Rat or Robber, shading the deep safety to Dorsett’s side of the field and try to choke everything else off underneath. This will force Brady to try to complete contested throws deep and to the boundary while having to deal with a delayed blitz. Could mean a big game for White and Burkhead who could have some room to work with in the flats.

I feel like Brady’s one bad decision this game will go to Peters.

Think we’ll smoke Peters otherwise, did he have a good SB? I can’t recall if he was covering Edelman.

Exactly. Any given Sunday. We have a lot to work on, but we are still the favourites and will be every game we play this season.
