Trade Deadline

Two quick questions about Howard.

If we traded the value of a first round pick for him, do you think he could be a big enough asset in the passing game since he has not played in our system and it takes time to get up to speed?

How good is his blocking skills?

Trading a first rounder to get a TE that might take a good portion of the season to get up to speed and then only have him for 1 more season it might be better to just wait and draft one next year and have him for 5 years on a rookie deal. My point is if it solidifies our SB quest then get him at all costs. If it is desperate move I’m not sure I like that idea

Yodny Cajuste has been the biggest mystery. Had quad surgery back in March. I think the guy has massive potential but we might not see him this year. We sure could use some depth.

2011- Solder- awesome
Solder wasn’t awesome but good enough. He sure chased a lot of DE’s that was overlooked by how quick Brady got rid of the ball. He got exposed in NY.

Cleveland should be absolutely running to this.

Vatai from Philly is also a name out there.

Saw a pic of him hope it's a photo shop but he's looking like a WR:rolleyes: too bad we are stacked at that position now with Harry coming back.

Redskins are dumb.

I just realized this was posted in the wrong thread. Meant to be in the latest Trent Williams thread.

Point is they nailed the pick.

I could have told the Giants their $$$$$ wouldn't be money well spent.

We draft badly. Go ahead and give them the picks.

Interested to hear everyone’s thoughts: the Patriots trade a first round pick tomorrow. Who would you rather it be for, Howard or Trent Williams?

I would say Williams.

I think we should get both

I would say Williams IF Wynn can move to guard, and Mason or Thuney to center

Only yesterday ?
Hes had spots of good play and spots of not so good play. Like Mason. Like Cannon. Like Karras all year.

I would say Williams.

Howard, for multiple reasons.

Same for Trey Flowers in Detroit. He’s been a disaster there.
