Trade Deadline

Now that I am 30...I really feel like I outgrew Twitter. Although most of my sports news comes from there. The 16-20 year old Pats fans on there are just pathetic. It's "Need OBJ now!" Before it was "Diggs!!!!" Now it's "trade everything for this guy!!!"

Literally any shiny object they see on TV or if Brady talks to OBJ it's..."Yeah they are deff trading for him"

So you're saying the Pats are in the mix??

Thuney probably could move to center.
i thought i read that he could. if he can i was thinking of moving Wynn to center and trading for a lt tackle like trent Williams.

Newhouse has barely been a JAG..
I would like to see the ALL22 before commenting on how Ferentz did yesterday..
yea yesterday was not good for Newhouse.

Wouldn't be the first time they've not had a pick in the first two rounds.. In fact, he did it just a few years ago..
Thanks You for correcting me and giving me some hope we can solidify the TE position. You are absolutely right.

Gonna be crazy. A lot of new faces are going to be here

Call me crazy.. but would rather refrain from trading a 1st round pick and plug in another 1st round pick at LT that’s already on the team.

The open question is whether Wynn can be a top guard. If so, we can trade for Williams, move Thuney to center, and have Wynn at OG.

Not a major need with Wynn coming back and definitely not worth it economically.

Upgrading depth from Newhouse makes sense. But not this.

I wonder which team, if either (hell, could be both) would balk at the following:

Bucs get

Patriots 1st round pick
Patriots 3rd round pick
Patriots 6th round pick

Patriots get

Howard
Bucs 2nd round pick

You sly devil. The difference between the Pats' 1st and the Bucs' 2nd will be only a few picks. That's like getting him for a 3rd, 5th, and 6th.

Even if it was a major need there is no cap space for him

Not a major need? You do know that Wynn played guard at Georgia? Right? You could put them side by side and have a pretty great pair. Economically is the tough part, but this would transform our line big time.

Howard DO IT!
We've urinated away pick #32 Easley and pick #33 Ras-I Dowling on complete wastes. Not to repeat mistakes but getting a position that improves a contending team with a weakness RIGHT NOW for 2 seasons makes sense. That's what #1s are for. Immediate contribution.

It's always funny when people who are normally very thoughtful in their posts go all knee-jerk reaction and have to pull players from 5 and 8 years ago to try and make a point..

Give them a First and and a Fourth Brady and Sony would be very happy.

Sorry didn't know Trent Williams was that old not for First maybe a 3rd and another day 3 pick.

Trade a 1st and call it a day with Howard. He’s young and talented.

Wynn will be a top LT for cheap for the next 3 years. We don't need to throw about 10m we dont have out of the window on top of additional draft picks.

No, keep going. You're on FIRE!!!!!

.

And Sony over Chubb who made that evaluation and lost almost a complete Draft a few years back. Patriots Drafting overrated. Patriots Finding UDFA Very Good.

Yeah.. because people can predict when 7 of 9 players are going to get injured in TC..
