He was really messing with the jets. At one point the jets had a 3rd and 3 gaining nothing and had a hold and BB accepted the penalty.

I think Belichick respected Rex Ryan as a coach even if, personality-wise, Rex didn't always put the best foot forward. With Adam Gase, however, I don't think Belichick respects him at all.

Let's just say Belichick Gase-lit him throughout the game.

Say what you want about Belichick but if you beat him on the road in the playoffs I guarantee he is going to respect your coaching acumen.

Rex might have been a buffoon in about a billion ways and I'm reasonably sure he hosted players to bang his wife but he was the closest thing to a real coaching challenge BB has ever faced in our division.
