You're missing the point. It's not an issue for mods not being able to tag a thread "important". We have that capability, but there's no default "IMPORTANT" label, they're specific to the content of the thread. This is a simple solution - I'll create one for additional NFL threads.

Also, with all due respect, if you have an issue or want to make a suggestion, you're not approaching it the right way. Telling me what a piece of crap the software is isn't going to solve the issue, just tell me what you'd like to see added/changed. I'll then see what I can do to make it better.

I'd like to think my history over the past nearly 20-years would show you that suggestions made by people are things I generally make come to fruition. As for the hostility, I don't know what I've done to irritate/frustrate you but you can certainly PM me directly to discuss it further.

If I may interject on this, just as an attempt to help...

While I do like the Xenforo, there are a couple of items that vBulletin does that you don't have here, and one of those could help in this situation (if Xenforo allows for it). In vBulletin, you can put a person on ignore, but the threads started by the person will still show up. It'll be just a placeholder post, with the thread name/avatar/etc... visible, but not the text.

Also, with vBulletin, you can find out how many posts a person has in an individual thread, and bring them up.


Those two items, if they can be setup with Xenforo, can be very helpful.

In general, he’s nowhere near where a lot of people thought he would be right now. The excuse for him this year, I’m sure, will be that it’s his first year under Arians. Next year, they’ll need a new excuse.
