TNF game thread: Tennessee Titmouses vs. Jacksonville Neutered Ferals

I resent the title of this thread o_O

That said, finally nice to get a win.

In the stache we trust.
Do you love or hate your fandom's representation on The Good Place?

Is Big Ben rooting for or against the Steelers without him?

That you’d even ask this question makes the answer incredibly obvious. Such a self-absorbed douche.

If they trade Ramsey there will be riots in the streets.

Seriously, his attitude is ingratiating sometimes but he’s a once in a generation CB.
That’s my problem with them.

Sure they looked great tonight on defense. But take Ramsey out. Are they still as great? I have to strongly doubt it.

The streets of Dubai? Milan? Lisbon? Isn’t your owner marketing to move that team to Europe because Jacksonville can’t cut it? I think Jacksonville would yawn. They certainly don’t care enough to buy tickets.

And “ingratiating” is probably the opposite of the word you meant to use.

I thought you are a Chiefs fan, hence your name?

I just figured he was an old St. John’s alum hanging on to the glory days of Chris Mullen before they changed their name to the Red Storm.

Are you joking???? Hightower’s play was awesome. It did not pluck victory from sure defeat in the last minute of a SB. After Hightowers stripsack, The Pats were still 16 points behind. You need to get perspective. Malcolm Butlers interception was the single greatest play in New England sports history. The only one that comes close is possibly Mike Eruziones go ahead goal in the Miracle on Ice.

Also, Butler was Pro-Bowl the following year and second team All-Pro the year after that. If you think he was a one play wonder, I can’t help you.

I’m sorry, but the facts are the facts.
I deign to disagree...Adam Vinitieri's kick to WIN our first Super Bowl is MY greatest play in Patriot history...

No there won’t. And he’s probably getting traded today.

I must confess I haven’t watched it yet

It's an awesome show. Also:

I see dion Lewis exploded for 20 yards last night. Still sticking it to bb!

Yeah it was midnight and I probably had a bit more whiskey then I wanted.

The owner isn’t threatening to move us anywhere.

Also, I don’t understand why you feel the need to slam our fan base or attendance, as we ranked 17th on average home game attendance last year: 2018 NFL Football Attendance - National Football League - ESPN

And FYI those rankings are with those pesky tarps removed ;) we removed them as of 2018.

we have some fans who are fickle and tired of the losing lately as evidenced by weak attendance last night; but we have a nice core fan base in Jax who do care about the team and don’t just “yawn”. You also gotta remember we agreed to host the FL-GA game there every year, so the stadium was built slightly above market demand just for that one game

That's depressing. The tarps were my favorite thing to make fun of, outside of Fred Taylor's 'too numerous to count' injuries.

That, kids, by the way, is what "injury prone" looks like. And Fragile Freddy stuck it out for over a decade, good for him.

Exactly. They’d be idiots to trade him but what do I know

I miss Freddy, hamstring issues and all

I hear Fred Taylor is almost healthy at long last and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jets.
