JOSH GORDON REINSTATED

They will definitely start with 7 WR plus 2 TEs with a 4 week exemption for Watson. And they may start with 8 WR so that they can IR a player (Harris) on cut down day - to have back later. So it would not be surprising if all of this last made the 53 at first:
If Harris goes to IR and Thomas stays on PUP I can see Inman making the team.

They will use Watsons exemption to protect an extra WR (Berrios/Inman etc) who would then be released after week 4 when teams are more set in their plans. Its less likely for a guy to be claimed week 4 than in week 1.

Lmfao I hope that I didn't tell you I ignored you. It's one of the cringiest most pathetic things people do online. I will ignore you but not before telling you I will ignore you and virtually getting the last word! I think I just told you after the fact. You grew on me. Like a tumor

Would there still be a possibilty of picking up a player on waivers or a trade still to consider

Must've been when I hadn't become an adult yet. Which tbh was only like when I turned 27 two years ago

So I have another 3 years to lash out at people online?

I remember that his supposed lack of speed came up here last year. I don't think he's slow. He just runs so smoothly that he sometimes looks slow.

+1. They used to say that about Joe DiMaggio, too.

Zack Cox has Slater taking up the historic 9th receiver spot, so some room would have to be made for that last one.

The Patriots have kept exactly nine WR/TEs (including Slater) to begin nine of the last 10 seasons. Starting with seven WRs this year wouldn't be crazy if only two TEs make the cut.

For everyone saying there’s no way he could get back to his prime consider this - if he was drunk and high all the time there’s no way he was 100% committed, focused and in peak shape. If he comes back sober he could be all of those things. I’m not saying it’s probable he’ll be better than his peak Cleveland days but it’s not impossible when you consider the circumstances.

Eh, after all that, he's a goner :D

Bill Belichick statement on Josh Gordon’s reinstatement: “For the past eight months, Josh’s situation has been entirely a league matter. When Josh returns to our program, we will evaluate the entire situation and do what we feel is best for Josh and the team."

Remember also that Cleveland was forcing the Ball to Gordon in 2013 because they sucked and he was the only weapon they had. So I am not sure that season (while awesome) is some sort of standard since he is on a team now that very heavily favors a specific match up and likes to spread the ball around.

Just 3 quick points for you and Kontra. My apologies if I've missed any humor attempts, but I'm working on about 35 minutes of sleep, and the caffeine hasn't kicked in yet.

  1. The ignore function is an excellent way to eliminate some of the noise. Nobody should willingly subject themselves to some of the clowns on the internet.
  2. Letting someone know you're putting them on ignore is a kindness, so that they don't keep posting to you when you can't read or respond to those posts.
  3. TommyBrady has lied, more than once, about putting me on ignore.
Yeah, the best is the people who forget that they told you they were putting you on ignore and then respond to your posts a few days later.

I will hope to see how is fitness is after working out with an ex sprinter? I remember in the Bears game he came up short of the line and ran out of pace , let's see how he does in a similar situation once on the field

I’m sure Tom has a guest room.

Pats can afford a body guard to follow him around

He's an employee, not an inmate.

It's not like you can keep in a straight jacket and a Hannibal Lecter mask when he's off the field. Even with a sponsor watching over him carefully, he's going to be in situations where he could f*ck up and backslide.

I remember last year someone suggested he be handcuffed to Slater:D:D

Hadn't considered Harris to the IR as an additional ploy to keep a guy as injury protection. Depending on how serious his current injury is, this is a decent idea. No one knows what DThomas has left, so why not have 2 guys that can come back midway through the season IF necessary.

That’s it Kontra, you’re on ignore!
