NFL Draft: Day 2

yeah, it's down to Gronk coming back in week 10

Either BB sees something very promising in the current piles of clay:) on the roster, he firmly believes he'll get one from some team who will jettison a vet TE on final cut day or midseason (a la Keith Byars though he wasn't a TE), thinks he can swing a trade, or I was out sick the day the NFL banned the TE. If not any of those then Gronkowski is intending to come back and BB knows it.

Going into the draft the Patriots were astoundingly bad at TE. As of right now status is completely unchanged. On a happier Patriot(singular) note, if I'm ASJ I'm friggin ecstatic

He looks good too, although the 40 time is a little slow. SMJr is better in both the 40 and the 3 cone. Plus, I mean, come on! He's STANLEY FREAKING MORGAN JUNIOR!

Stanley Morgan isn't related to the former Patriots WR, Stanley Morgan.

It's April.

Here's my quick take scouting report on Yondy after watching the game against VTech

Reminds me physically of Tyron Smith of Dallas

Has quick feet and good movement.

Can easily get to blocks at the second level.

Has no problem against an outside speed rush

Needs to stay with his blocks longer

Appeared to be more of a finesse blocker than a mauler in the run game

Contrary to Giardi's tweet, i didn't any hint of a mean streak

I LOVED Stanley Morgan....One of my favorite all time players. We got to find a way to get his kid and hopefully he restores the magic of number "86".

A few names make me think we didn't know about behind the scenes issues. Always fascinating to see who falls. We're well set up for a very strong round 4, or a trade into next year (my preference). Pick up a developmental DT & TE and I'm perfectly happy pushing the rest forward. Marvelous day so far!

There gonna get one after cuts are made. Do you really think there's a rookie left, that would be a difference maker?

Not sure if already posted but a nice little draft moment from Winovich

Twitter goes nuts over Chase Winovich to New England Patriots

CGJ is absurd value, but the secondary is sick deep, but maybe if Dawson is not in the plan at FS.

Curious if any of the guys that spent weeks on mock drafts and prognostications got even 2 names right out of the first 5 picks.
