See the harryboy thread lol. Not to get into things, but not many cared when we signed James Harrison who has a horrible history. Now who amongst us would like to kick off the political discussion in this thread?
I don't like guy's attitude at all. But he's a 9-10 sack guy.
If we have him and Tre that's wow.
If he's replacing Flowers and Clayborn is staying we need more d lineman.
Has BB ever paid max $$$$ for a premium edge rusher?I like the move as well but don't think it's any implication of their desire to bring back Flowers.
Philly doesn't have a lot of cap space even w Foles off the books and for Roseman to be creative or active in free agency, they needed to clear some cap space, ergo moving Bennett.. I go to see a few Eagles games last year and Bennett didn't play like a guy in his 30s..... I like this.. if we can just keep him out of casinos.....Love it! Just the value I wanted.
Does anyone know why Philly wanted to get rid of him anyway? I mean for the type of player he is 7.2 and 8M with nothing guaranteed is a good deal. Do they really have no other contracts they can dump? I am just wondering what is causing the Eagles to let go of him.

Never!
Has BB ever jettisoned a premium edge rusher at contract time?
Hell yeah!
Has BB ever gone to the veteran discount window to get an impact edge rusher on short $$$$?
Standard Operating Procedure
Does BB love him some 3rd round comp picks?
Will Michael "I want a raise" Bennett be a happy camper if NE signs Flowers to double his current salary level?
Is this draft stacked with DE/DT talent to fill holes and develop as the next Flowers?
No Bill just trades for guys who can'tcan he still play?
Interesting. The guy who won the Pats a SB in 2014 (His offside penalty basically ended the game for sure. Before that It was about 95% over. There was still a slim chance Seattle could've forced a fumble recovery of some sort) could also help win them a SB in 2019. Irony.
That said, it's a good addition. I hope that doesn't mean Flowers is likely gone.
