Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

That's the owner of the spa.

My son is living in Beijing and is married to a sweetheart of a Chinese lady. They've been talking about moving here and starting up a business. I tried to warn them that they can't necessarily trust some other Chinese person to help them along the way. Some of the newcomers to this country make a mistake by trusting someone just because they came from the same country. The woman in that picture could be one of those type of people.

A person gets busted for paying for sex. Now, begin your outrage. BTW, I bet his girlfriend stays.
My gut, the word “girlfriend”, while technically the correct term, is somewhat misleading... I’d go with “sugar baby”...

I’m sitting in a restaurant right now and all anyone can talk about is “why would Brady solicit a prostitute when he has a supermodel?” I’m in Northern California. Greeeeat. Can’t even get these facts right. I could care less what Bob does in his free time to get his rocks off.....most of the time. When it’s illegal activity? Turn the team over and GTFO. You are the owner of the New England ****ING Patriots. When the owner becomes the topic of distraction, something needs to change. Meek Mill, big ass chains around his neck, young lady hanging on his arms, mishandling deflategate, and now this? We get it. You lost your Wife and you were devastated. Time to disappear and let the adults run the organization. I love Mr. Kraft and all he has done for this organization but boy does he just look like a ****ing clown.

Someone thought it was Brady who got caught and not Kraft?

I know that the public isn't well informed about anything (especially when it comes to the Patriots; also 30% of the country can't name the Vice President) but not sure how something in the news can be altered so bad that it goes from Kraft to Brady.

To be fair, to folks outside of NE, there's not much difference.

Both are old white guys from NE.

Wow! My mind is blown when you put it in that perspective. I’ve never known law enforcement to go after the “johns” of the world, and this is certainly quite an angle of looking at this. So they let sex slaves be essentially raped and abused and had it all on video but didn’t immediately step in to arrest someone? I have a feeling that this is going to unravel. It won’t be good for Kraft, but there’s something really, really odd here. The sheriff sure seemed to like patting himself on the back and didn’t mind commenting on a case in progress (no arrest made.). Have a strong suspicion we are about to see one heck of an amateur hour flawed “investigation”. But Kraft will be screwed anyway, especially if this embarrassing video is released, which is likely will be, even though the supposed victim is a sex slave and shouldn’t be broadcasted.

Every time I've ever seen prostitution stings on TV, they cuff the dude before clothes come off, which seems appropriate regardless of what side of the legalize debate you're on. But to use the women to out a bunch of johns, whilst knowing they're already being exploited and held against their will? That's pretty crazy.

If the case gets thrown out for anything like this, Kraft probably keeps his job and all is well at One Patriot Place. I'm actually thinking something like this is very possible to occur. This is a highly unusual tactic for LE to undertake. God knows south Florida has bigger problems than hand jobs being paid for. In fact, it's a pretty safe (health wise) form of prostitution.

When they go into a room and a door is shut and they are being filmed without their knowledge? Possibly...yes.

But the real question is why would they knowingly allow sexual acts to be performed, while filming them? Typically a prostitution sting would perhaps film the payment or solicitation and then make the arrest on the spot. Instead, they allowed the deprivation to continue over the course of months even though they knew these women were basically hostages.
Well you are dealing in rumors and conjecture so it would make sense to have facts before having “why would they” discussions.

Get ready for a new owner.

The NFL has been looking for a way to break up the Pats and here it is. The other owners will want the Kraft name out. Sex trafficking is as bad as it gets and dont be shocked to see minors involved.

The Krafts are through in the NFL.
Ok Elton why don't you eat a Snickers.

I turned off the computer at 4pm, just signing back on. Has Arod, Tiger, Marino,Shula, or Garo Yepremian turned up on the Johns list yet?

What are you talking about? It's in the police report they released today. Plain as day. The police filmed scores of sexual encounters with male patrons and these women.

Is the adult truly "willing" if they don't have much (if any) choice other than to give sexual services?

I tend to agree that sexual labor should be legalized to some extent, if only for the ability to regulate it and protect the women involved.

I still struggle with the ethical aspects of sexual work, only because while the women can consent to providing those services, that doesn't necessarily mean she will enjoy the experience with the man, and negative sexual experiences can be somewhat unsettling and unnerving.

I'd feel better if the woman was able to be more selective about who she became involved with prior to engaging in a sexual act. But, that'd effectively eliminate a large proportion of the consumer base and ruin the point of the industry.
To be fair, lots of jobs suck

It was the investigation.

The fact that sex trafficking has been an epidemic for decades doesn't make it any less ****ed up.

And IMO it's significantly worse for a billionaire to be involved, because he had tons of options for paying for sex, many/most of which would elicit zero judgment from me. The amount of money that would convince damn near any stripper, ****tail waitress, or woman at club to just say to hell with it and give him what he's looking for is throwaway pocket change to him. The price to ensure you're engaged in prostitution with a willing participant is basically nothing to him, but he just didn't care enough to pay it. Instead he decided to go get a $70 rub and tug at an asian massage parlor where none of the workers spoke English. That's damn near every sex trafficking red flag rolled up into one.

Really? How much $$ would it take for you to give Kraft a HJ or is it only women that are easy?

Unlikely the Patriots lose draft picks. But the league could dock them picks without any retribution from the Pats. This was according to Schefter on OMN this afternoon.

Saw a picture of the place where this happened 'allegedly' it was in a Strip mall.

Huh huh, huh huh you said Strip.
