Thanks for that great link! Long read but well worth it.

And it was unbelievable to see that video in the tweet in the bottom that showed a Steelers fan breaking his big screen TV after we won. Gosh! He needs help!

Thanks. That was great.
The game goes too fast for me to see these kind of details.
It's awesome to have it dissected like that.

I was pretty down on Jason throughout the season, but he really showed up in the post season.

I'm really happy to see him finally get a ring... with his brother.

I love how the narrative earlier this year was, "Of course Patricia and Vrabel would give the Pats fits...they know the system." Then Hoyer basically confirms McVay was running the Shannahan offense and even used the same calls.

No wonder the team was so confident leading up to the game.

Regards,
Chris

I've always liked Hoyer. He's the quintessential teammate, and a hard worker. Hope we keep him for another couple years.

BTW, everybody wants to give McVey a free pass because he's a genuinely nice guy. You want to like him. But this article, visual evidence from the game and the comments he had from the mikes on the sidelines are pretty damning. Goff as well for all the big deal made out of him not being able to make adjustments as the headset went off at 15 seconds and Cincinnati's new Head Coach too.

What's going to happen next year when everybody starts attacking their run game the same way? Is he going to adjust or just roll out the same offense that can't go spread and a QB who can't adjust on the fly quickly?

Yea glad he got a ring here.

Amazing that the Rams wouldn't change their play language and their tendencies from their Shanahan origins.

McVay is supposed to be a boy genius?

McVey has reminded me of young Gruden for some time, and more now than ever. He's a very good coach and we will see how he adjusts going forward.

Might have been cool for Brady to let him take the knee at the end.
I’ve thought of that on a few times. But the other side of the coin is, why risk a fumble on the exchange with a new QB? Very minor, but BB does not ignore minor details!

Maybe Hoyer had more to do minimizing the Rams offense than Flores?

Dunno, but I really liked Hoyer’s reaction to the D shutting down the scout team in the final practices.
“They had everything covered,” Hoyer said. “I was like, ‘Either these guys know what all our plays are, or they’re gonna ball out in the game.’ You could see it. They were playing so fast, they were so on top of it. And you get to the game, and they go and have the best defensive performance I’ve ever witnessed.”
At least he could read that defense.

**** that, IMO. Brady earned that kneel down.
Sure, of course. Just saying it might’ve been a cool thing to do. If Hoyer was a big part of the victory like the McCourtys say, and the other 45 guys who suited up played, would’ve been a pretty nice gesture. No big deal.

I get it. Maybe put Hoyer out wide while Brady takes the knee? Anyway, I'm sure he was still happy as can be! It's so cool to learn about these "secret" contributors. I also loved reading about how the D was flying around during practice!
