I wonder if LA has already planned their victory parade and the parade route. If so bill should let the players know.

Lombardi likes the Pats 28-24. That’s a big difference from last year where he said he is picking the Eagles “come hell or high water”. Lol

I did worry me....hopefully Chris Simms is stoned again and these weren't his real thoughts
I heard a radio interview with Chris Sims the other day, maybe on the Dan Patrick show. The topic came up of his year in New England as an offensive assistant and he was asked if he ever saw anything shady going on.

He said (paraphrasing here) that it is a huge misconception that the Patriots don't pay attention to the rules. On the contrary, they were consistently more by-the-book than any team he ever worked /played for (Tampa, Tennessee, Denver). For example, if coaches found out about players having a friendly monetary wager on a college game between the schools they went to, all the players would get a lecture about the absolute prohibition on all sports gambling. Wear my jersey? OK. Sing my fight song? OK. Give me 100 bucks? Not OK. In all ways the Patriots as an organization demanded that people always follow the rules, both the team rules and NFL rules.

Of course, there was no follow-up since it didn't fit the host's narrative of the Patriots being cheaters.

I'm sure that they have. I am sure that Boston has, also. You need more than a few days to handle the logistics for that.

The key is you don't let that stuff leak to the press, ever, like Philly did.

Lombardi also said the Pats suck and wouldn't make it past the first round lmao

Then again, lots of people did, including here :p

A guest odds maker on Zo and Bertrand yesterday said that the vast majority of Sharp bets were going for the Pats.

I read an article that not only was there a record amount of $ bet on NFL games this year but Vegas (expectedly) made a record profit on these bets.

Looking like Vegas could either extend those record profits astronomically or they could take a MASSIVE hit. I'm really surprised they haven't moved the lines more to entice bettors to pick the Rams.

Just listened ESPN's Doug Kezirian podcast. He interviewed an oddsmaker who said that Vegas has accumulated a lot of cushion from previous future bets, they actually would win on Pats.

The PFF Super Bowl Preview touched on this a little. Essentially they said that Vegas kind of put themselves in a pickle by offering NFC -2 before the CG's. They were expecting the Saints. They still have to cover those bets so if the Pats line moved to -3 or beyond it would allow the sharps to buy both sides. I didn't get the mechanics of that but it sounds sort of related to what you are describing.

I've heard the same thing on VSIN on XM. You cant look at this game in a vacuum. Vegas has liability on those future bets too. Not enough people are talking about that as public money has come in on the Pat's. They are trying to balance all their liabilities not just the spread and money line bets.

I remember him giving his reasoning for Philly winning. He didn't trust the Pats defense against that particular offense. Boy was he right lol.

Probably had something to do with benching their 2016 NFL Pro Bowl cornerback Butler 10 minutes before the game and having 3 DB teammates all play out of position.

Oh I agree that played a factor too. I think it's a good sign Lombardi is picking the Patriots. He really knows his stuff.

MDS is a goof

Florio going with the Giants / Broncos score for SB 21.

Im growing with more confidence by the hour

Ha my nerves are starting to really get to me. Sweating. Fast heart rate. Hands shaking. I am not even in the game. Can't imagine how the players feel.

Outside of Tom Brady...the Rams absolutely have a better roster

The pats receiving corps is better as is our LBs and secondary. I also think the Pats will show tomorrow they have the better RBs.

How many sacks do the Rams have this postseason? A grand total of 3, while the Pats have 6. Again, you supposedly have the better d-line.
