Allen came back in the game after that play, Stoney. I was there. I saw it.

That's encouraging news; I'll re-watch the youtube clip of the tv broadcast now to see how he looks...

Edit: there he is, on 2nd/9 from their 40 with 3:21 remaining in the game, after he missed the rest of the previous series...he wasn't on the field for the 3rd-down play...I also saw him on the field for the 2nd (and final) kneel-down, so that's good to see. It doesn't change how I feel about the price it cost to acquire him, but we have nobody better than him at the backup TE position, so I'm happy that his injury wasn't as severe as I had first feared.

Now I hated Allen's cap #, but he has been a good player for us...not a bad transaction..just tjat we gave him too much $$$, IMO. BTW, he took a hair cut this year though.

The Pats didn't decide on Allen's salaries, they came with Allen's existing contract when the Pats traded with Indy for him.

Cordarrelle Patterson was at practice today after leaving Sunday’s game with a knee injury.

It was actually only a walkthrough. Even so, Patterson was still listed as "Limited".

"Limited" for a walkthrough doesn't sound real encouraging.
