He played 49% of the snaps on Sunday - about his averaged when Gronk is playing. I hadn't heard anything about him getting hurt again, just about Patterson leaving the locker room with a limp and a big wrap on his knee.

Allen was hurt when Burkhead fell on the back of his legs with 6:33 remaining in the game, during Hoyer's first snap after he replaced Brady. Unfortunately, no mention of it was made while play was stopped, just more Brady chatter from the broadcast booth, who seemed to have done a fairly decent job otherwise. Didn't look good when it happened, and the manner in which he grabbed his leg indicated to me at least that he might've suffered a high ankle sprain, which might very well be a season-ender, a fitting end for one of the Emperor's absolutely Worst transactions Ever.

Now I hated Allen's cap #, but he has been a good player for us...not a bad transaction..just tjat we gave him too much $$$, IMO. BTW, he took a hair cut this year though.

Thats huge, i dont think its any coincidence our run game suddenly looked dominant again the day he went back to getting regular snaps.
