Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman recently made a lengthy appearance on the “I Am Athlete” podcast.
The show, founded by Brandon Marshall and hosted by Chad Ochocinco Johnson, Adam Pacman Jones, Lesean Shady McCoy, and DJ Williams, aims to get unfiltered comments and thoughts from pro athletes.
In Edelman’s episode, he asked a wide range of questions from the hosts about his chances of returning to the NFL, playing for Bill Belichick, and even addressing a reported beef between old teammates Jimmy Garoppolo and Martellus Bennett.
“We lost two games,” Bennett recalled during an appearance on Double Coverage With The McCourty Twins in 2021. “One of them was because Jimmy Garoppolo was being a b—-. He decided not to play right before the game. Jacoby [Brissett] came out and played with a f—ed up thumb and played his heart out, but Jimmy was just being a b—- about it all.
