Tom Brady reaffirms plan to play beyond 2019

Let him play somewhere else....provided Bill the GM can get another qb...I'll still take the 2018 mediocre in just about every category Brady over most of the flotsam and jetsam out there, but my God, the chinks in Brady's armor have been showing last few games..
if he's all in I'm ok with it. but if he pulls what he did last year missing offseason workouts and has a passive-aggressive attitude. then its time to move on. if you're going to play you have to be all in 100 percent.

Whether Brady plays in 2019 and 2020 the Patriots still need plan B. It's time to draft a future QB, someone who can sit on the bench for a year or two and learn from the greatest QB ever. We need another long term QB, not someone who is a backup like Hoyer. We should draft someone or make a trade for a young QB who can be a starter for many years like Wentz or Foles.

i like Wentz too...but i really do not know if we can have a chance...

I have been in Bormio a couple of times cycling, but the fracture happened in Abruzzo. I was in the hospital in Atessa. Small town, fixed my hip just fine.
last time i was in Abruzzo was beginning last year...Giulianova...

I was just tossing out a few names off the top of my head. I'd be fine with Crowder and Beasley as FA moves, bringing back Patterson (and/or Dorsett), and a draft pick. I think even starting there improves the passing game dramatically.

I want Patterson back as well.

I hope you guys realize we won the division again and have a spot in the playoffs. I know Brady isn’t playing like we are used to but he is still playing better than , the greatest to have ever played in Rodgers. And the last few weeks he just been as good as Brees has been statistically. I hate that be bails out of so many plays, maybe that’s a preservation plan agreed upon by the coaches. Most of the problems stems from the decline in our receiving core.

The Gran Sasso is beautiful. Terrible what happened to L’Aquila. Was there less than a year before the quake (and again 5 years later). Have also had lunch in Amatrice - now destroyed. Breaks my heart.

I’d obviously take Brady back regardless of his off-season plans, but I am pretty interested to see if we get a repeat of last year.

As a pure Jaguar fan, Brady has broken my heart a time too many (the AFC Championship loss was probably my hardest game to watch ever. I can’t even go back and rewatch highlights).

But as a football fan and appreciative of the game overall, I respect the crap out of Brady and wish him good health. He’s good for the league too, and I’m glad he’s sticking around for the foreseeable future. I honestly cant imagine how weird it will be once he retires. I grew up in a league with both Manning and Brady in their prime and it’s weird enough that Manning isn’t out there. But eventually Brady? Uncanny. Hopefully he hangs it up before he actually hits the wall though. I’d hate to see him limp out so to speak on a bad final season, like Manning (defense won him that ring), Favre, etc.
I know you guys have a few big free agents this upcoming offseason. However outside from Bortles that's still one of the most talented rosters in the NFL! It will be very interesting to see what the Jags do at QB this offseason 2019!

Provided a massive overhaul of the passing game personnel takes place, I see Brady having at least one more "vintage" season. We need another 2010 type offseason and if that doesn't happen, Brady's final years will be wasted. What we've seen all year is not a decline, it's an off year very much like previous ones he's had in 2006, 2009, 2013.

I can't go back and rewatch highlights of any Patriots loss, so.

I can’t give up on brady so easily. I’ve seen him have stretches that were bad on several occasions. Here’s my reasoning. He was playing well before that knee thing and since the knee thing he’s been off. If indeed it is a partially torn mcl. The wrong hit tears that and your done for a long time.

I would rather go down with the ship with Brady than force him out the door and watch him play elsewhere.

2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 are Brady's only seasons statically better than this year. This is roughly his 9th best season statically

2001, 2002, 2005, 2009 are all years his win total are the same or less than 2018.

So you want no part of a Brady-less Patriots team that finishes 14-2 with the #1 defense in the NFL?
