Don’t want to get too far ahead of myself but best case scenario, we win the divisional playoff and somehow win the AFC championship, could we beat the rams or the saints?

could the eagles win the superbowl after their star rookie was lost for the season?
could the patriots win the superbowl after they QB they just signed to the first every 100 million dollar deal?
could the giant beat the 18-0 world destroying patriots after backing their way into the playoffs?

Its ****ing football man. they LITERALLY made a movie about football called any given sunday.

Every single team in the league, could potentially beat any other team in the league, if a couple of bounces go their way.

TLDR, Of course they could, what kind of question is this.

The Steelers gave the Saints all they could handle IN THE SUPERDOME today.

The Saints secondary couldn’t slow down Brown today.

And they are the best team in the NFL with the best home field advantage.

If we even are lucky enough to play them, it would be in Atlanta.

As for the Rams, have you been watching them recently? Goff is a bit of a mess now.....and that D can be lit up.....despite all the talent they have. Word is that they traded for Flower because Suh isn’t the same guy he used to be.

Hell, it could even be a rematch with the Foles Eagles......

Rams are very beatable. Saints would be the toughest matchup. But if the Pats get there, that means they're playing well,so yeah, they could beat anybody.

Patriots would have no chance against the saints or Rams.
And yes you are getting ahead of yourself. What have you seen this year that makes you think they have any shot whatsoever in Kansas City.

It’s going to be hard for anyone to beat the Saints because they play aggressive football. They don’t have an all pro WR either yet brees still lights it up.

Can’t say that yet till the season ends.
I assume you say that because you use “winning the SB” as the primary/only metric of how good a team is?

I reject that in a sport where the championship is decided by a single game.

The 2007 Pats were a much better team than, say, the 2001 Pats. And the 2001 Pats are better than the 2018 Pats.

Anything can happen... Ask the 2007, 2011, and 2017 Patriots

On paper not a great matchup vs the saints. Strength vs strength with our rush O and their rush D. I just don’t know if we have the weapons at wr like Pitt to really exploit the saints weakness in the secondary.

And our rush defense against the saints OL and ingram/kamara? I really don’t want to see the saints in the SB if we make it.

You don't think Michael Thomas isn't really good?

What if we have to play in blizzard conditions @ Arrowhead where it favors the rushing game? Or someone tweaks their ankle in pre-game warm ups? So many things can happen....

If I ever learned anything from the 07’ season...it is that NOTHING IS GUARANTEED.

Hell! What if it's a Superbowl rematch with the Bears? That would be historical too!

That’s what we’ve come to expect. We are incredibly spoiled like most fans would be very grateful for 11-5 and the #2 seed.

I’d prefer another shot at the Eagles....and STEAL a win from them on a fluky play or two.....

If that happens, I’ll dress like Jason “Swami” Kielce and dance a jig....
