There is no such thing as a great defense anymore.

The Ravens defense is keeping them relevant. With these Arena League offenses I believe that you can still win by playing tough defense and running the ball. The NFL has turned into basketball, but you aint scoring if I keep the ball by chipping away running at a pace of 3 - 4 yards a carry.

The other deal is that defenses are getting worn out trying to keep up with these high octane offenses. Committing the run keeps your defense on the sideline and rested. IMO you expend more energy playing defense than offense because you dont know where the ball is going.

Nah. I would take both of their Ds over ours but I put them in the "very good" category.

With that said, considering how we are now in the era of Touch Football maybe they should be considered great?
