Problem is the D and special teams are trash so the offense needs to go pass heavy against a very good D.
Beating the Titans in a high scoring game is difficult because they, unlike the Pats, can play good D. New England needed to win a low scoring game and churn out yards.
The early deficit and questionable early play calling took the Pats out of the game. I don’t see how they can hope to win this absent a Tennessee implosion.
I think if Brady and Co can put up a good drive then I will have some hope in a comeback. Seems like Brady is holding the ball too long. Gotta get some screen passes in to open up the passing game

I’m sure this thread is in meltdown mode. All I’m going to say is, the losses we can’t afford are against the teams we SHOULD beat. Let’s hope they pull this out somehow.
It sucks, Harold Landry is a nightmare and the Patriots could have taken him... twice. Instead, they picked Michel - a good running back prospect, but still a running back prospect. And then traded down and got Duke Dawson and a pick next year. I'd take Landry, who certainly looks like the unstoppable beast off the edge he was in 2016 with BC.
Who ever thought this is where we would be at the half.
Both sides of the ball looks bad. The only way we win in much better offense, looks like we can't stop them defensively.
To be fair, we’ve seen elements of this all season
Kick coverage has often been bad
Defense is straight up bad
Offense is inconsistent and has no running game and no Gronk
They haven’t exactly been playing great ball. Winning ugly or winning despite of playing sloppy is fine - a win is a win - but it’s not sustainable
This team has had few games where they’ve played even 30 minutes of good overall ball this year. The talent level and injury/age declines have caught up to them. It’s very much like 2009 or 2005. The off-season was a total failure in retrospect and the core of the team has seen better days
